ActionAid Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the following positions within the organisation: Monitoring & Evaluation/Knowledge Management Manager; Strengthening Citizens Resistance against Prevalence of Corruption Project (SCRAP-C) Abuja The post holder will manage the M&E systems and provide periodic feedback on measurable achievements towards targets for the DFID-SCRAP-C project targets. S/He will also be primarily responsible for managing the project logical framework, project reports and developing knowledge management products for the project. First degree in Social sciences or Arts/humanities is essential Master s degree in relevant field is essential At least 8 years work experience, 4 of which must be in a similar role in the development sector is essential in Local Human Rights Based Approach programming and monitoring including working with partners and social movements is essential with governance programs or good understanding of Nigeria s governance context is essential Deep understanding of and commitment to human rights-based approach (HRBA) including women s rights, with knowledge of methodologies that are effective in monitoring and evaluating HRBA programming is desirable Strong knowledge of DFID M&E, Communications, and reporting requirements with at least 2 years of experience managing M&E systems for DFID programmes will be an added advantage is desirable

S/He will also support M& E Programme staff of the project sub- recipients and partners to ensure the strategic and functional integration of all M&E activities as well as activities collaboration with the sub-recipient and other relevant authorities. 3 Project Officer X 2, Systems and Structure Strengthening Approach against Radicalization to Violent Extremism (SARVE) Nasarawa and Kogi The post holder will work with communities through identified partners to understand the context, factors and issues of vulnerability, capacity to address them and support for groups, and community resilience building in Kogi and Nasarawa States. First in Conflict & Peace Studies, social sciences or arts/humanities is essential At least three (3) years experience, two (2) of which should be in a similar position in the development sector preferably in community-based work is essential in organisational capacity development especially public sector institutions is essential working with communities in conflict is essential Ability to maintain donor relationship and accountability in line with funding policies and standards Ability to manage conflict Group facilitation skills Ability to build and maintain community relationships & engagement Digital Marketing Officer Abuja The post holder will be responsible for providing technical digital marketing support to deal with data and system management tasks. 4 in generating analytical reports from databases is essential in providing user support and training is desirable Excellent documentation skills Ability to multi task Senior Technical Advisor, Accountability and Health Financing (DFID Health Project) Abuja ActionAid Nigeria is seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Advisor to lead the federal and state-level policy and advocacy workstream of an upcoming multi-million pound health programme to: Design and deliver an eight-year advocacy strategy to increase governmental financial resources for basic health services at the federal and state level; Build the capacity of Nigerian civil society to ensure that: (i) communities have adequate information about their health rights; (ii) the voices of communities are heard by health policy-makers and stakeholders; and (iii) that health policy and health services are responsive to their needs. As part of the programme s senior management team, the post-holder will work closely with the Team Leader and other senior technical advisors to provide stewardship to the programme, and to oversee implementation of programme activities by regional teams. Please note that this role is subject to the successful award of the contract. The project is due to commence in late 2019/early The role will be for a minimum of two years and may be extended for the full duration of the project (eight years). 5 Knowledge of policy, CSOs, media and youth movements landscape in Nigeria is essential A good understanding and clear commitment to human rights-based approach and women s right is essential working on projects funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) or other similar donors is desirable in community-based work and engagements with CSOs is desirable Good knowledge of women s rights, gender equality and human rights is desirable Existing working relationships with civil society and feminist networks in Nigeria is desirable Excellent research, analytical and writing skills Proven strong and charismatic management and leadership skills and experience Excellent strategic planning and analytical skill Proven experience of excellent networking and relationship-building skills Excellent organisational skills and co-ordination skills in meeting tight deadlines Strong negotiation skills Uses effective strategies to facilitate organisation change initiatives and overcome resistance to change by involving others, listening and building commitment Programme Officer, Governance Abuja The Programme Officer will provide quality service to ActionAid Nigeria in delivering on the Youth Organising and Leadership Programme and support the Governance team to deepen its Accountability, Learning & Planning Systems (ALPS) processes He/she will be expected to support the implementation of the YOL programme, undertake effective and appropriate documentation and shared learning systems, that will collectively contribute to improved programme quality and impact towards realisation of the programme objectives.
