2 JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: SECRETARY TO DIRECTOR OF TINKER TECHNOLOGY CENTER SALARY LEVEL: SALARY SCHEDULE MDSEA C-T DEPARTMENT: REPORTS TO: FLSA STATUS: TINKER TECHNOLOGY CENTER DIRECTOR OF TINKER TECHNOLOGY CENTER NON-EXEMPT SUMMARY: To provide secretarial/clerical support to the administrator and instructional staff of Tinker Technology Center. Serve as receptionist/secretary process all employee records, mail, maintain files on TTC s records, prepare requisitions and payroll, set up and manage files on T.O.s, AF Regulations, gather data and prepare and submit periodic reports to Tinker AFB and State Department of Career Technology Education. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completion of business training and/or three years of comprehensive secretarial experience. Filing and organizational skills, proofreading ability, and proficient with computer. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serves as Tinker Technology Center s primary point of contact by receive in-coming calls, greeting visitors and staff, and supporting the functions of the entire administration. 2. Type student enrollment sheets, submit pass or fail ratings for students in TSS, and close out class roster upon completion in TSS. 3. Prepares training reports for OC-ALC Maintenance Wing, payroll for PT employees, assist in monthly billing of classes in invoicing, receipt, acceptance, and property transfer (irapt). 4. Prepares and assists in establishing background checks for all new employees. 5. Assists in maintaining records of required training for all employees. 6. Calls in work orders for building maintenance. Submits AF form 332 work request for modifications, renovation, installations, maintenance, and repairs or new work/construction. 7. Schedules classes within established guidelines to meet training needs. Loads established classes in the Training Scheduling System (TSS). 8. Maintains adequate records and supplies for instructors use and issues, as needed. 9. Prepares student rosters & critiques for Contracting Officer Representative. 10. Maintains records of American Heart paperwork. Loads and assigns CPR ecards in American Heart Association Network for issuance to government students. 11. Checks and records fire extinguishers for use and code. 12. Prepares and submits all requisitions for purchase orders. Maintains vendor balances. Assists in the pickup and delivery of materials on TAFB and MDTC. Assists in inventories of supplies and identifies causes for overages/shortages. 13. Prepares travel claim forms for personnel. 14. Issues keys for students/instructors use of tool boxes and TO computers.

4 15. Plans fire drills and emergency preparedness programs. 16. Assists in developing a positive working relationship with the Training Administrators of TCC and OC/ALC Maintenance Training Wing and Contracting office. 17. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by administrators.

(B) Hourly rate (C) Base Salary (D) Total District Compensation = Base Salary + (7.5269oh x Base Salary) (E) An additional stipend will be added to the top ofthe compensation schedule at an increment equivalent to the last fwo steps on each compensation schedule.
