Jb Summary This is achieved by fully supprting cntinuus imprvement, cnsistent and effective prcesses and cnfrmance t requirements. T prvide best practice tls and facilitate the sharing f best practice at all levels f the rganisatin and amngst all disciplines. Mnitring cmpliance with relevant laws and regulatins, including reprting and mnitring. Whilst reprting directly t the Operatins Manager, yu will interface with all ther functins within the cmpany. This challenging psitin places high premiums n unyielding determinatin t imprve all Quality aspects within the rganisatin. Key Respnsibilities Culture Deliver a dynamic Quality culture and management system that engages all parts f the cmpany. Act as a catalyst fr change and imprvement in quality perfrmance. Custmers Requirements In cnjunctin with the Sales and Design team establish the prduct quality requirements fr all existing and new prducts. Design quality inspectin prcedures fr all existing and new prducts. Cmmunicate the custmer s quality requirements thrughut the rganisatin. In cnjunctin with the Sales team, mnitr the cmpetitr s quality standards t ensure Gil Industries Grup are the market leaders. Incming Material Quality Wrking with the design, purchasing & prductin departments, establish the quality requirements fr all external suppliers. Create a gds inwards department, ensure suitable training fr the department. Implement a new part apprval prcess (ISIR). Prduce and publish supplier perfrmance with crrective actins.

4 In cnjunctin with ther departments, wrk with suppliers t imprve prduct quality. Create, maintain and publish an apprved supplier data base. Quality Standards Ensure that the manufacturing prcesses prduce prduct that meet the required quality standards. Determine and implement in-huse quality prcedures, standards and/r specificatins. Prcedures Design, implement and maintain a suitable Quality Management System. Write management/technical reprts and custmers charters. Wrk tward implementing ISO Perfrmance Measures Mnitr perfrmance by gathering relevant data and prducing statistical reprts. Publish a suite f KPI s that reflect the Quality perfrmance thrughut the cmpany. Training Cnstantly review the quality training requirements thrughut the rganisatin and implement suitable training prgrams t ensure all Baileys emplyees are fully cnversant with the cmpany quality prcedures, prcess and market requirements. Thrugh skills matrices, cnstruct and implement team training plans. Cach & develp the Quality team t maximise the team s perfrmance. Implement jb rtatin and jb enrichment prgrams. Audits Create and facilitate internal and external audits thrughut the rganisatin and suppliers. Disciplinary Ensure the teams fully understand and cmply with cmpany rules. Recrd and reprt sickness and absenteeism, daily, weekly, YTD and cmpared t last year and cmpany average. Prepare and cnduct disciplinary meetings as required.

5 Health & Safety Huse Keeping Ensure the Quality department understand 5s and that the 5 s audits are cmpleted. Review audits and wrk with MLM/MTL t establish crrective actins. Ensure an effective plicy and apprpriate training is in place t manage spills. PPE Ensure the Quality team fully understand the imprtance f PPE where & it is be used, hw t wear PPE and cnstantly audit t ensure cmpliance. Where apprpriate, ensure all persnnel attend mandatry testing (hearing, lung functin etc). Manual Handling Within the Standard Operatins Prcedures assciated with the Quality department, assess all the lifting activities and ensure a safe wrking methd is created. Cnstantly seek alternative methds t reduce risk assciated with lifting and manipulating prduct. Ensure lifting equipment is used where and when designated. New Starters Cnstantly review and lk t develp the new starter inductin pack. Check that inductin training has been cmpleted and new starters fully understands all the pints discussed in the inductin pack. Accidents Recrd and visually display the accident perfrmance within the Quality department, cmpare actual t target and previus histry. Review the accidents and identify crrective actin, implement and share with ther areas that may have similar risks. Near Miss Ensure Quality Team cmplete near miss incidents. Recrd and visually display the Near Miss perfrmance within the department, cmpare actual t target and previus histry. Budgets In cnjunctin with Prductin Directr, set the labur and peratinal budget each year fr the Quality department. Review expenditure against mnthly budget, taking apprpriate actin. Identify ptential capital equipment and utline the ptential benefits. Assist with capital expenditure justificatin as required. Cmmunicatin Set the gals and standards fr the ttal team. Act as cmmunicatins pint fr the Quality department, disseminating pertinent and timely infrmatin.
