2 As Business Partner to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members, the Head of I.S. leads a department of IT professionals who deliver technological epertise, solutions and services to the organisation International wide. The role will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives which align with the Brooke s global organisational strategy. The individual will direct the planning and implementation of global enterprise IT systems within the Brooke in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and performance. The Head of I.S. is responsible for all aspects of Brooke s information technology and systems. Key tasks and responsibilities: Strategy and Planning Participate in strategic and operational IT governance processes. Lead IT strategic and operational planning by cultivating innovation, prioritising IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organisation. Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organisational structure that supports the needs of the organisation. Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures. Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development. Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments and proposals. Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating and capital ependiture budgets. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Direct development and eecution of the Brookes disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Assess and make recommendations on the improvement or re-engineering of the IT organisation. Operational Management Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance. Ensure IT system operation adheres to law and regulations. Establish lines of control for current and proposed information systems. Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate all Leadership teams and senior managers on how best to leverage IT in support of organisational objectives. Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and eternal entities. Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organisation of all IT staff in accordance with organisational budgetary objectives and personnel policies. Ensure the day-to-day organisational requirements for facilities are planned, eecuted and managed effectively and efficiently. Accountable for the efficient operation and maintenance of Brookes Office in the UK, maintaining a comfortable and safe physical environment, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

3 Responsible to ensure all IT equipment and services throughout Brooke s International organisation is fit for purpose and conforms to security standards as laid out in ISO/IEC 70 Lead the IS team in developing and maintaining an ITIL framework. Acquisition & Deployment Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. Approve, prioritise, and control projects and the IS project catalogue as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems. Review hardware and software procurement and maintenance contracts and create agreements to capitalise on economies of scale. Knowledge and eperience Essential Desirable Educated to degree or equivalent eperience in a senior strategic leadership role within an IS function. Ecellent knowledge and eperience of Information Services and Technology operations management. Eperience of data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, outsourced systems and solutions. Proven eperience in IT planning, organisation, and development. Strong IT project management and business change eperience. Good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT. Eperience of preparing and managing large income and cape budgets. Proven leadership ability Proven eperience in Strategic planning, development and project deployment. Eceptional Programme delivery eperience Skills and abilities Essential Desirable Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Good strategic planning and project management skills Ecellent communicator Proven leadership ability and able to motivate and build team capability in a collaborative environment. 5 Technical Skills Essential Desirable Good eperience of IT infrastructure including Virtual Server Estates & Architecture along with Cloud services transition/migration. Eperience of Microsoft.NET and Linu/Apache/MySQL/PHP ( LAMP ) environments supporting web-based applications. Eperience of large relational database and CRM solutions.
