1 Job Description JOB TITLE: Face Forward Finance and Compliance Coordinator SALARY: 23, GRADE: 4 REPORTS TO: Director of Finance and Commercial DIRECT REPORTS: LOCATION: LEVEL OF DISCLOSURE: FUNDING HOURS OF WORK None Poole with travel across Dorset Enhanced Funded by the ESF and Big Lottery Fund 35 per week (full time) Face Forward is an exciting new project in Dorset. Jointly funded by The Big Lottery and European Social Fund until Dec Working in partnership with voluntary and community sector delivery partners who are specialists in engagement, motivation and employment activities with young adults furthest from the labour market. Job Purpose 1. To work autonomously to develop relationships with key internal / external stakeholders within the voluntary sector. 2. Assist the Contract and Partnership Manager in achieving significant financial and delivery outputs on the Face Forward contract across Dorset by ensuring compliance with Building better opportunities guidance and monitoring all aspects of contract delivery. Regularly reviewing management information and reporting on internal and external performance, ensure that contract delivery adheres to all ESF Eligibility criteria, quality and compliance requirements and support any internal and external audit/inspection requirements from the Managing Authority. 3. Setting up and maintaining administrative systems and supporting day to day contractual monitoring, identify and initiate remedies to support the provision of service and delivery in line with agreed profiles and budgets; producing comprehensive reports on performance and contractual compliance.

2 4. To assist the Finance and Contracts Manager to achieve significant financial and delivery outputs on the Face Forward Big Lottery and ESF funded contract across Dorset 5. Supporting the Face Forward contract management, administration and claims processes in order to meet compliance and quality standards. Key tasks and responsibilities: 1. To support the Contract and Partnership Manager in the delivery of the Face Forward contract, ensuring compliance with Building Better Opportunities guidance and monitoring all aspects of contract delivery in Dorset. 2. To regularly review management information and report on internal and external performance against the agreed contract targets. 3. To ensure contract delivery adheres to all ESF Eligibility criteria, quality and compliance requirements by monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of all contract documentation. 4. Set up and maintain the administrative systems for effective and efficient contract management including stakeholder communication, performance monitoring and file/records management. 5. Support day to day contractual monitoring, identifying and initiating remedies to support the provision of service and delivery in line with agreed profiles and budgets and produce comprehensive reports on performance and contractual compliance. 6. Monitor delivery partner and direct delivery performance to ensure all agreed deliverables are achieved within the required timescales. 7. To support any internal audit and inspection requirements for all delivery partners ensuring eligibility of claims. 8. To liaise and support external auditors and the relevant independent verifiers. 9. To liaise with the funding body and all key stakeholders on a regular basis, maintaining a professional and positive representation of the contract and Ansbury at all times. 10. Provide prompt responses to contractual and funding queries, minimising delays in business engagement and delivery.

3 11. To support all data returns and claims processes to the BBO authority, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data in all times. 12. To keep updated and ensure all parties are kept fully informed with regards to funding requirements, changes in legislation and contract eligibility requirements. Key Relationships The post holder will be expected to develop and maintain good relationships with: Contracts manager - To work closely with Contract and Partnership Manager BBO funding team to ensure successful management of the contract across the region. Delivery partners - Build strong links with delivery partner teams to ensure exemplary levels of service and support are provided.

4 Face Forward Finance and Compliance Coordinator Person Specification - Knowledge, Skills & Experience The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following specific attributes. Qualifications Essential Desirable Degree or equivalent qualification preferably in Business Administration or Finance related Skills and experience Possess good organisational and time management skills; prioritising and managing work according to timescales, deadlines and Key Performance Indicators. Demonstrate a full commitment to and understanding of Compliance Frameworks, with an ability to continuously improve provision. Experience of gathering, analysing, compiling and presenting complex MI and financial based reports to Management Boards or similar level. Understanding of Performance Management Frameworks, and meeting/exceeding contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets relating to Performance Outcomes. ICT literate to Advanced Level; including Office 365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to attend and participate at meetings at all levels as required.
