1 Project 12: Use Behavioral Skills Training and Performance Feedback This project is recommended after some experience with presenting trainings to staff and parents, to assess and develop proficiency with Behavioral Skills Training and Performance Feedback strategies. Pre-Assessment Items are from the BACB 5 th edition task list, but applicable to both BACB 4 th and 5 th edition task lists. Mastery: 100% competency in both verbal and practice as by supervisor. Can Task list item discuss fluently? F-2: Determine the need for behavior-analytic services. I-2: Establish clear expectations for the supervisor and supervisee. I-3: Select supervision goals based on an assessment of the supervisee s skills. I-4: Train personnel to competently perform assessment and intervention procedures. I-5: Use monitoring, feedback, and reinforcement systems I-6: Use a functional assessment approach (e.g., diagnostics) to identify variables affecting personnel I-7: Use function-based strategies to improve personnel I-8: Evaluate the effects of supervision (e.g., on client outcomes, on supervisee repertoires) % of task list items performed correctly Observed to perform correctly?

2 Activity Task Analysis and Rubric Pre-requisite: Mastery of pre-assessment items. Scoring: Rate supervisee on each step, and have supervisee self-assess prior to meeting. Compare ratings at meeting to check agreement. Mastery Criteria: Satisfactory rating on 100% of steps. Repeat steps that are rated Needs or until rated Satisfactory.
