No Section 1: Purpose Manage and deliver IT projects and or programs with combined budgets up to $5 million Policy owner: Manager, Recruitment & Retention Page 1 of 6

2 Section 2: Key accountabilities and outcomes/tasks Technical accountabilities * Manage projects ensuring: - preparation of business cases attaining necessary approvals in a timely manner - management of project financials (budgets and forecasting) - effective planning and integration - delivery to scope, schedule and budget - project / project deliverable compliance to quality requirements - effective management of team resources, including vendor resources - effective management of communication and stakeholder relationships - effective management of issues and risks - compliance to project methodology including adoption of agile practices where possible - delivery of simple, usable systems to the Divisions * Undertake the role of Scrum Master (Scrum process coach) when assigned. * Build and maintain strong relationships with all customers, stakeholders and vendors. * Manage stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder management disciplines. External vendors engaged on a project Section 4: Capability Knowledge, skills and experience Basic knowledge Formal education required. Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Project Management Skills Specific skills, software packages or licences required to perform the position and at what level. * Project and change management capabilities * Effective leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills. * Strong understanding of business requirements and technical limitations as determined by the organisation s enterprise architecture. * Ability to manage the competing demands of multiple projects in a timely manner. * Ability to influence and build productive relationships with industry providers, vendors and stakeholders. 5 * 3 to 5 years as an IT Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing and successfully delivering individual projects and programs budgeted up to $5 million * Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in different project delivery approaches, including waterfall, SCRUM, Iterative/Incremental. * Current best practice in the delivery of IT solutions, project management methodologies and their application to IT projects. * Organisational change management principles. * Resourcing and communication for projects, including team management and stakeholder relationship management * Risk and issue management including risk management planning, risk identification, risk analysis and risk response planning procurement management including planning of purchases and acquisitions, contract administration, tendering and vendor selection * Integration and scope management, including project planning, change control, scope definition, work breakdown structures and scope control Additional knowledge and skills Desirable knowledge, skills or experience needed for the position. Experience in Primavera for project scheduling. Professional certification - PMP or similar Knowledge of ITIL v3 SCRUM master certification Physical requirements Office Based Description: Works in an office and does no field work.
