1 INTO USF ORIENTATION ACADEMIC ENGLISH Please note that this is only an example of a schedule. You will receive your actual schedule when you arrive for Orientation.

2 Learn what Orientation is like! This is a sample schedule designed to give you an idea of your Orientation week. Please note this is only an example of a past schedule your schedule will be different from this one and you will receive it once you check in to Orientation. You will be placed on a team once you arrive for Orientation. You will have the same schedule as everyone else on your team. You will have a Team Leader guiding your through the day and helping you stay on schedule!

3 An Overview of Orientation ALL Orientation sessions are mandatory. You will not receive your class schedule if you do not attend all Orientation sessions. Enrollment Services Check-In: Presented by members of the INTO Admissions team. You will get checked into your program and receive your Orientation supplies. Housing and Clinic Check: Presented by members of the Student Services team We will ensure you have the right insurance and are compliant with immunization requirements. You will also meet with the housing coordinator to make ensure you are in your proper accommodation. Finance: Presented by members of the INTO Finance team If you have not yet fully paid your tuition and fees, you will pay your remaining balance with our Finance team. Immigration Document Check-In Presented by International Services Immigration Advisors You will meet with the INTO USF Immigration Team to ensure that your immigration documents are submitted so you can activate your I-20. Writing Exam and Oxford Online Placement Test (Computer Test) Presented by members of the Academic team You will take these two tests during Orientation. The results of these tests will determine your level during the Academic English program. Academic Orientation Presented by the Academic team You will meet with your teachers to receive your test results and you will also learn your level for the semester

Anchin Center, TECO Hall 9:00 a.m. Housing and Clinic Check INTO USF Center, FAO :00 a.m. Oxford Online Placement Exam (Computer Test) INTO USF Computer Lab, BSN :00 p.m. Lunch Champion s Choice Dining 1:00 p.m. Writing Test INTO USF Center, FAO 017 2:00 p.m. ID Center Student Services Building, SVC :45 p.m. Campus Tour USF Tampa Campus 3:30 p.m. Finance INTO USF Center, FAO 104 5:00 p.m. Wal-Mart Trip (OPTIONAL) At Wal-Mart, you can find everything from food to furniture. An INTO Student Leader will accompany you to the store so you can get the materials you need to get settled in. You ll be traveling USF bus system, the Bull Runner. Meet at INTO USF Center, FAO 100

Anchin Center, TECO Hall 10:00 a.m. Immigration Document Check INTO USF Center, FAO :15 p.m. Lunch Champion s Choice Dining 1:45 p.m. Mandatory Presentations: Center for Victim s Advocacy, University Police Department Student Services Presentation 4:00 p.m. Minor Presentation (If you are below 18 years of age, you are required to attend this presentation) 4:00 p.m Resource Fair David C. Anchin Center, TECO Hall David C. Anchin Center, TECO Hall During this session, you can set up important accounts like a phone or a bank. We bring companies here for you! You can also learn about resources, activities and involvement opportunities on this campus!

6 ORIENTATION DAY 3 10:30 a.m. Meet your Team Leader 11:00 a.m. Academic Orientation During this session, you will get the results of your two exams and you will learn what level you are in for the semester. You cannot get a class schedule without learning your level. 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Make Up Sessions Did you miss any of your Orientation sessions? You cannot receive your class schedule unless you have attended every session. Use this time to complete what you missed. If you don t know where to go, just come to the lobby and we ll help you. 6:00 p.m. Welcome Party During every Orientation we have a welcome event for you to get to know the rest of the students and have a fun time after a busy Orientation week! 7 ORIENTATION DAY 4 1:00 p.m. Clearance/Schedule Handout If you have attended every Orientation session, you should have received your schedules via . If for some reason, you did not receive your schedule over or you have not attended every session, you will need to come to the lobby to be cleared and receive your schedule.
