The exam emphasizes the five (5) process groups, ten (10) knowledge areas and 47 processes. Exam requires you to answer the questions from PMI s perspective based on the RDS.

Questions can be series based, i.e. you must answer the first question correctly to answer the next three (3) or four (4) questions. A small percentage of the questions will be based on the inputs and outputs from the PMBOK Guide. Earned Value, Critical Chain, PERT, EMV, and CPM will almost certainly be on the test. Approximately 10%-15% of the exam will require the use of other formulas.
