Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing this appointment will be of critical importance in developing our brand as we embark on a period of significant growth. We have Fun JOB DESCRIPTION You will be responsible for the development of the Synergy Learning Brand, communicating our story to new and existing customers with the objective of increasing our reach and market share. First Class communication skills are essential, including the ability to write accurate, interesting and engaging copy. You must also have a proven track record of and in depth understanding of digital marketing. You will be an assertive and confident individual with an ability to manage up, down and across teams.

4 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services and the complementary roles of all the wider team Communicate this information to different audiences, particularly Business to Business Work with all media to promote the Synergy Learning Story and Brand in line with our plans for substantial growth Collaborate with the Senior Management Team, in particular the Head of Sales and Marketing, to prepare and execute our marketing strategy Prepare and execute marketing budgets that support the achievement of sales objectives Design and implement metrics to monitor the performance and efficacy of all marketing activities to ensure maximum return on investment Work with the sales team to implement a first class lead management system Manage our events programme, ensuring that Synergy Learning is best in show Assume responsibility for the efficacy of Synergy Learning s online presence, including our website and activity on social media Have a thorough understanding of our market, including innovations in technology, competitor developments and activity and implement plans to ensure we are ahead of the curve. Ensuring our team and our customers are supplied with the best marketing collateral to support their work. Ensure that all marketing activity is aligned with our Vision and Values Conduct regular briefings and updates to the wider team to ensure company wide understanding of marketing strategy, goals and objectives.

5 PERSON SPECIFICATION Skills and Qualities We are looking for a creative skilled versatile and highly self-motivated marketing professional who will contribute effectively and efficiently to the company s on-going ambitious workload. You will: Be educated to degree level, in Marketing, English, Journalism, or Advertising Have a minimum of three years experience in a similar or highly relevant role Be able to provide evidence of top quality writing and copy, and/or direct us to a portfolio of work Have excellent oral communication skills and be able to evidence an ability to create strong relationships with internal and external customers Be an expert in digital marketing Be able to work concurrently on a variety of projects, with an ability to prioritise to business need and time manage effectively Have strong problem solving skills and a clear focus on quality Travel Knowledge of elearning or L&D sector
