The Inspire Consortium was set up in 2014 with a view to winning the tender to deliver Recovery and Wellbeing Services in Tower Hamlets from summer Community Options led the tendering process and in June 2016 the Consortium was awarded the contract to deliver services across the borough for 3 years. The Consortium s Recovery and Wellbeing Services provide a range of different services to people with mental health needs including: First Point of Access: Providing a comprehensive assessment, signposting and short term support. Work & Wellbeing Hub: Helping people back into employment, education or volunteering and setting up social enterprises. Support Groups: Fixed term group activities to support mental wellbeing. One to One support: Longer term 1-1 support. Involvement & Coproduction:. The aim of the services is to support people to be self-managing, reducing their need for statutory services. This is done by increasing people s self confidence and self worth, and then providing people with the skills, resources and support mechanisms in order to manage their wellbeing and live a valued life in their community. 2 Summary of Key Functions of the Service; Provide access to recovery oriented time limited support, specialist advice and opportunities for social contact and community participation Support people to retain existing social roles, relationships and maintain wellbeing and physical health through participation in healthy lifestyle/ social/ leisure and work activities. Support people to access new roles, relationships and mainstream healthy lifestyle/social/leisure/work opportunities as part of personal recovery plan. Provide support and facilitation of peer support, co-production and supportive networks for peer led groups and co-facilitated activities to flourish including educational approaches to recovery (Recovery College). Role description The Co-ordinator will monitor the services together with the consortium partner s with the support of an internal team; including Office Management, Human Resources, Training, IT and Communication and Marketing. The post-holder will have a solution-focussed approach, excellent communication skills, experience of CRM systems, the ability to manage a varied workload under pressure and the capability to work co-productively with multiple partners. The Co-ordinator will be mainly based in Mind offices in Tower Hamlets, however, may be required to travel to other premises within the London Area. The Co-ordinator will have the support of a full time administrator whom they will line manage. They will also have direct line management responsibility for the First -point of Access Service also based in Mind in Tower Hamlets with the support of a Senior Support, Time and Recovery Worker. The Co-ordinator will also line manage the Service User Involvement Manager whose team are based within the East London Foundation Trust Recovery College in Old Montague Street in Tower Hamlets. The Co-ordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager. Job descriptions are reviewed annually and may be amended in accordance with the needs of the service. Job purpose To coordinate and work closely alongside the leads of the consortium to provide the Tower Hamlets Recovery and Wellbeing contract. Main duties and accountabilities: Contracting Responsible for ensuring all partners meet the outcomes agreed as part of the subcontracting arrangement.. Attend and contribute to regular working groups across all 4 services to monitor and discuss progress Lead quarterly Consortium Steering Group meetings in order to oversee the development and running of the contract. Work closely with commissioners to ensure the service is working to contract and attend contract monitoring meetings Page 2 of 5
3 Data management To implement and maintain the CRM system across the consortium Ensure the CRM system is capturing the right data for reporting purposes Where required develop new systems and liaising with internal and external providers to ensure the systems, policy s and processes meet the needs of the services. Finance Responsible for ensuring contract works within budget specification. Quality Responsible for ensuring standards are agreed with Consortium Partners and capturing the outcome data for reporting purposes. Responsible for ensuring the consortium stakeholders agree the standard documentation, forms, templates and marketing materials to be used across the Inspire Services. Responsible for identifying feedback systems and questionnaires for annual service monitoring. Ensuring that staff are appropriately recruited, trained, retained and developed to meet the needs of the services. Ensuring that the company s equalities policy is adhered to ensuring services are delivered in an equitable, non discriminatory manner. Partnership working and Co-production Ensuring positive relationships are maintained with all stakeholders.. Marketing Take lead on the marketing strategy ensuring engagement from professionals and communities in the borough Take lead in promoting the service, including at events, team meetings of external services, board meetings etc Develop new marketing materials as and when Promoting the professional image of the organisation First Point of Access Service Regularly review and monitor the activity of the First Point of Access team Work with the team to development new processes & ways of working Ensure the service is a successful gateway to other parts of the consortium Involvement & Coproduction service Work with the Involvement & Coproduction Manager to ensure coproduction is embedded throughout Inspire Assist with events to ensure community engagement Develop and maintain relationships with service user champions Page 3 of 5

Ensuring own continued professional development The postholder will undertake any other duties that are relevant/appropriate to the post. PERSON SPECIFICATION - Project Coordinator: Mental Health Consortium The person specification is a statement of the minimum standards required for the post to be performed at a reasonable level. In short listing for interview, preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that they meet all the criteria for the post, however, this will not necessarily guarantee an interview as there may be a large number of candidates applying. When completing the application form it is advisable to show how you have met the criteria, rather than simply stating that you have done so. For example, rather than stating I have good verbal and written communication skills you might state I have made presentations on a number of occasions, regularly produced written reports and so on. Experience Essential Desirable Experience of working in mental health services Experience of working with multiple agencies. Experience of successfully managing budgets Experience of Project/Programme Management Skills and qualities Project management skills Ability to write clear and concise letters, reports and briefing papers Ability to communicate effectively with service users, voluntary and statutory service providers, Commissioners, Trustees and colleagues Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate the ability to organise own workload and set priorities Ability, understanding and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to negotiate effectively with external parties and managing contracts.
