Describe how you plan to establish such an organizational climate. Include how you will use communications, the chain of command, and your personal example to do so. 3. What are your expectations of the cadre platoon leader? 4. How and when will you communicate these expectations to him? How will you ensure he understands them? 5. How will you help him meet these expectations? 6. How will you directly supervise the cadre platoon leader? 7. What specific missions (task and purpose) will you assign the XO during the cadre period? 8. What are your expectations of the company (-) during the cadre period? How will you use communications, the chain of command, and your personal example to do so?

2 Duty Position: Executive Officer 1. What does it mean to control something in the sense of command and control? 2. What are some things that will need your controlling during cadre? What is the commander s intent for each of those things? How will you control them? 3. What does the commander expect from you during the cadre period? 4. What does your commander expect from the company during the cadre period? 5. How can you help him in both those areas? 6. What are your expectations of the supply sergeant during the cadre period? What specific missions (task and purpose) will you assign her? How and when will you communicate this to her? 7. How will you help the supply sergeant be successful during the cadre period?

3 Duty Position: Academic Officer 1. What do you think are some observable indicators of a positive organizational academic climate during cadre period? 2. How will you gather data about those indicators and monitor them? 3. How will you report on the academic organizational climate to the commander? 4. What should 4C be doing during ESP during the cadre period? How much time should they be studying? How much time should they be shining? How will you control that? Who will help you? 5. How will you inform the 4C about the company and battalion tutor program? How will you ensure the 4C are comfortable approaching a tutor? Same questions for the Academic Support Center. 6. How will you help upperclass cadets who were academically weak last year get off to a good start this year? 7. How will you ensure each 4C understands his class schedule and how to get to his classrooms? How can help you with this? 8. How can you use the chain of command and the senior mentors to communicate your message to the 4C? If you made an academic info sheet for each 4C, what would be on it?

4 Duty Position: Human Affairs Officer 1. What do you think are some observable indicators of a positive organizational human affairs/social climate during cadre period? 2. How will you gather data about those indicators and monitor them? 3. How will you report to the commander the degree to which the organizational climate she desires is being established and maintained during cadre period? 4. What are your expectations of the HA NCO during the cadre period? What specific missions (task and purpose) will you assign him? How and when will you communicate this to him? 5. How will you help the HA NCO succeed during cadre period? How will you directly supervise him? 6. How will you indirectly supervise the HA CPL? 7. The HA Team gets some of the best training of any cadre. How will you formally and informally share that information with the rest of the cadre? 8. What type of individual cadet emotional crises do you anticipate during the cadre period? How can you prepare for them?

5 Duty Position: Athletic Officer 1. What do you think are some observable indicators of a positive organizational physical climate during cadre period? 2. How will you gather data about those indicators and monitor them? 3. How will you report on the physical organizational climate to the commander? 4. What are the general pieces of information about the physical effectiveness system a 4C should know and how do you get them that information collectively? How do you figure what a 4C needs individually? How do you connect him with those resources and develop and monitor and individually-tailored physical effectiveness plan? 5. Describe what Regimental PT should look like during cadre? Same for Spirit PT. Are these company or 4C events? What does it say about the organizational physical climate when there is a different standard at these events for 4C and upperclassmen? How will you ensure there is one standard? Who will help you? 6. How will you help upperclass cadets who were physically weak last year get off to a good start this year?

What are your expectations of your platoon sergeant during the cadre period? What specific missions (task and purpose) will you assign her? How and when will you communicate this to her? 6. How will you directly supervise your platoon sergeant? 7. How will you indirectly supervise you squad sergeants? 8. What is your leadership plan for a weak but motivated cadet recruit? A weak and unmotivated cadet recruit? A capable and motivated cadet recruit? A capable but unmotivated cadet recruit?
