Promote wellness in order to encourage healthy lifestyle practices. Our vision is based, on our company s values: respect for others, professionalism and integrity, judgement and discipline, creativity and innovation, and leadership and entrepreneurship. Develop exemplary practices in health, safety and wellness Develop wellness programs (Nutrition-Physical; Exercise-Prevention; etc) Our program To support our vision, we have set up Vigilance, which is the umbrella for all of Transcontinental s health, safety and wellness activities and initiatives. Vigilance translates into awareness of our actions, a commitment to change how we act, and adoption of responsible behaviours that promote a healthy lifestyle. 4

VIGILANCE a word that carries a lot of meaning! Vigilance truly reflects what is expected of us, individually and as a group, as we take charge of our health, safety and wellness.

5 VIGILANCE a word that carries a lot of meaning! Vigilance truly reflects what is expected of us, individually and as a group, as we take charge of our health, safety and wellness. Being vigilant is a state of mind: it makes us more attentive and careful in what we do. Prevention, awareness and openness are also signs of a vigilant attitude. As a whole, the visual is eye-catching and immediately reminds employees of the importance of remaining vigilant and attentive at all times, for their own safety and that of others! We use our eyes as a key element. It exemplifies the human aspect of vigilance and emphasizes the individual, i.e. each employee at Transcontinental. The letters of the alphabet represent the Media Sector while the bull s eye is used in reference to our Printing Sector. The colors reflects the inks used in printing. Vigilance on the Intranet Vigilance is a health, safety and wellness information portal that is available online on our global Intranet. By developing and implementing the Transcontinental s prevention program (HSW Policies, Procedures and Programs ) in each Transcontinental business unit (HSW Manual) The HSW program includes procedures, standards, and best practices in order to achieve a world class performance The HSW program encourage commitment from employees and senior management. The HSW program encourages the implementation of a HSW culture The HSW program is based on continuous improvement in HSW The HSW program invites all employees and senior management to adopt a healthy lifestyle. 1.1 The management of each business unit is responsible to implement the HSW policies, procedures and programs The HSW Manual communicates roles, responsiblities, procedures and provides templates, examples for implementation. 11

By measuring the HSW performance in each Transcontinental business unit 2.1 Audit program: Each business unit must seek to achieve obtain 100% compliance level based upon the standards, applicable legislation which are measured through our corporate health, safety & wellness audit program. The Corporate health, safety & wellness audit is based on international HS evaluation system" Best Practices (SIES, OSHA VPP, OHSAS 18001, DUPONT STOP) The mark achieved demonstrates the health, safety and wellness performance, areas of strengths or weakness 12 evaluation points Audits are conducted every 2 years by the Health, Safety & Wellness Regional Advisor Expected result to the HSW Audit: 1st audit (acquisition): evaluation of the HSW file 2nd audit: 50% (1 year after the 1st audit) 3rd audit: 70% (2 years after the 2nd audit) 4th audit: 85% (2 years after the 3nd audit) Expectation following an audit: HSW action plan must be elaborated by the business unit with a quarterly followup with the HSW Regional Advisor 12
