3 About Us As an integral part of the Hyde Group of companies, we have been providing surface treatments since Working primarily on Airbus, BAE Systems and Bombardier aerospace projects it became clear in the late 90 s that there was a demand to increase our capacity. A significant investment in year 2000 solved this by introducing larger premises, a new level of process automation to our production capability and the very best in surface treatment technology. Since then our capability has continued to develop and our customer base has grown significantly, both in the UK and in Europe. Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Surface Pre-Treatments Surface Coatings Culture & Investment We are very committed to our quality and have a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure we are always optimising our level of service. Our recent enrolment onto the Sharing In Growth (SIG) performance improvement programme is a clear example of our commitment. We also have a strong reinvestment culture to ensure our facility not only offers excellent capacity and capability, but also operates in a safe, clean and efficient manner. As part of our commitment to reducing the effect on the environment we participate in energy reduction schemes and are always looking at ways of reducing the use of harmful products though continuous improvement activities. 70K investment in innovative LED lighting yielded energy savings of 74% 700K investment in a semi-automated Tartaric Sulphuric Acid Anodising (TSA) treatment process is a demonstration of our commitment to reduce the usage of Chromium in our processes. This means that we are one of very few companies in the country with this capability and we can anodise parts up to 2.2m long Strong Reinvestment Culture

5 Periodic Testing Our highly trained full-time Laboratory Technicians are key factors in ensuring continuous process conformity. Using NADCAP accredited scheduling systems and testing methods our process solutions and surface coatings are systematically tested to ensure they continually meet customer standards. Our continuous investment into the very latest in monitoring and testing technology clearly demonstrates how committed we are to achieving consistent process conformity. Whether it is laboratory scales which can accurately weigh to g, a colour spectrophotometer which can accurately measure colour and sheen of paints, or the very latest intelligent dosing equipped with state-of-the-art mechatronics, we have all the necessary equipment to put our customers at ease. We also have our certified artificial 1000 litre corrosion chamber to ensure our protective pre-treatments are continuously monitored for resistance to corrosion. Digital Monitoring To help maximise the efficiency of our process monitoring we have invested in the latest digital graphical chart recorders for remote viewing and secure data recording so we can keep up to date with what our processes are actually doing without having to visit the production shop. This system is so efficient our technical team will know if there is a problem at the same time our production team knows. Best Working Practice We provide our production team with best working practices flowed down through process work instructions and technique sheets for every job worked, for every process carried out and every material used. These work instructions and technique sheets are written in such detail that we can expect a uniform approach from our production team and demonstrate to our customers that we have good control of our processes. 7 Our Policy It is our policy to meet or exceed our customer s lead-time expectations 100% of the time without compromising quality. To help achieve this we continuously monitor our performance and fight to combat risk factors and accommodate unexpected fluctuations in workload through daily structured meetings and close supervision. Standard Lead Time We aim to complete non-complex work packages within 5 working days of receipt. However, complex and larger packages of work may take longer. UOR and AOG We recognize that sometimes our customers may need to fast-track work through final treatments as part of a schedule recovery plan or as the result of an urgent repair order. Therefore we offer our customers a premium Urgent Order Requirement (UOR) or Aircraft On Ground (AOG) service, which allow resource and lead-times to be tailored to meet specific needs. 100% Committed to Achieving or Exceeding our Lead Times
