4 WE060 WED061 Prepare for Leading in Diversity by 2020 Initiative Mandatory E and D training to be completed across the organisation Know the make up of your communities and annually consider how you can improve the diversity of your board, leadership and staff teams. Compile diversity-related data on the composition of your (1) board (2) executive team and (3) total workforce and publish it in an accessible format in your annual report. Challenge all staff (and external agencies) responsible for recruitment to ensure that all shortlists include appropriate candidates from underrepresented groups. Ensure staff members involved in recruitment have completed mandatory training to ensure fair recruitment processes. Set an aspirational target for board/committee recruitment from under-represented groups to ensure that your governance structure is representative of the wider communities you work in. Have in place succession and 31-Mar % Dionne Smith talent management strategies which reflect the principles of inclusion and diversity, so that all staff can succeed and progress, if they have the right skills and values. Identify and provide appropriate mentoring and coaching opportunities for staff and board members within your own organisation and/or with external agencies. 7 WED052 Stonewall Monitoring HR information Monitor and review diversity data that we collect across all diversity strands from application to recruitment and then training and promotion. 01-Dec % A report has been produced on Cascade, which identifies the total number of attendees on training courses from the start of the year (to year to date) and will automatically run every 6 months and be shared with HR and the E * D Co-ordinator. This report looks at the gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability and sexual orientation per attendee per course. E&D data is collated at recruitment stages (via e- recruitment software, Networx) with all vacancies that are advertised externally. Internally promotions (with attached E & D data) can be viewed via a report within the HR database, Cascade. The HR team will look in to producing a report that looks at providing a breakdown of E & D stats related to training within a six month period.
