19 Why outsource benefits? Our ERP system didn t handle benefits well (events were challenging, as well as EDI) We were taking calls in-house and using paper forms With high growth and lots of acquisitions, we needed to scale our benefits program We needed a streamlined, more efficient process.

30 What We ve Learned Simplify! We learned to simplify our OE and new hire materials. Previously, we had OE packets with multiple flyers and rate sheets. Now we do a simpler, quick enrollment guide plus an interactive, digital guide. Provide as many options as possible both digital and print! We distribute print materials to each location rather than employee homes, because address maintenance is such a challenge. Our employees like videos since we can t conveniently do traditional onsite OE meetings, we rely on the educational videos and recorded webinars.

32 We ve made a lot of changes this year! Previously grandfathered with the ACA This year added a third PPO Plan and made significant changes Added performance network Enhanced telemedicine offering

34 It s all about helping them become health care consumers! Our employees need to research the plans and networks carefully We added the ability to search the networks We added claims examples to help employees We put this information in multiple areas!
