Every day you postpone college it costs you, and those who depend on you, another day when you could be bringing home a higher salary. According to the United States Department of Labor, higher education pays in higher earnings and lower unemployment rates. It is far more expensive to put it off, drop out, or not attend college altogether, than it is to pay tuition. People who have a college education generally earn higher wages and salaries than those who do not.
