1 ICT Network Manager Term Time only plus 2 additional weeks during the school holidays to be negotiated. Salary range: Grade 9 or 10, dependent on previous experience. (Grade Grade ) Langtree School is one of the smallest secondary schools in Oxfordshire, with a current roll of 595 fantastic students who are, quite simply, a pleasure to teach. Our small size is our greatest strength as we are a community in which students are known and valued as individuals and in which they can thrive with the close support of a dedicated team of subject specialist teachers. Many parents choose Langtree for this reason, and we remain heavily oversubscribed for places. In March 2009 we were designated as an outstanding school by Ofsted, and in March 2013 we were judged to be Good with Outstanding features under the revised framework. Following feedback from a recent HMI visit, we are now seeking to be judged outstanding again in our next inspection. Perhaps the most gratifying comment in an unprecedented Ofsted report was the observation that: There is no resting on laurels here.each success is celebrated and then staff move on swiftly, planning always how to reach the next level. Langtree is indeed a dynamic environment in which to work and we are seeking an outstanding, creative teacher of English with the energy, enthusiasm and commitment to help us to move the school on still further. Langtree has specialist status in the Performing Arts, and the Creativity agenda is central to the ethos of our school. We have also been designated as a High Performing Specialist School which led to the award of Leading Edge Status in Langtree also converted to Academy Status in April of The future is very exciting for our community and this is a wonderful opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join an ambitious and vibrant school with a very exciting future. Langtree is an outstanding school in which to teach. We enjoy the pleasure of working with some excellent young adults who have considerable desire to succeed. The school is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in rural south Oxfordshire with easy access to Oxford, Reading and London. Our 2015 GCSE results were excellent again, with 72% of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades including English and Maths. Furthermore, the proportion of grades achieved at A* and A in 2014 placed us in the top four schools in the country.
