Salary frm 44,000 Hliday allwance: 22 days Cmpany Pensin Flexible wrking practices Purpse f the jb The pst hlder will take respnsibility fr decisin making and the assciated delivery wrk streams in relatin t the estates management f assets in their area. He/she will be respnsible fr the day t day management f the estate and develping effective wrking relatinships with ur Ttal Facilities Management Partners (and their suppliers where apprpriate), reviewing and managing supplier perfrmance and standards, ensuring technical cmpliance and data integrity, ensuring accurate billing/payment f invices/deductins, measuring and evidencing efficiencies and value delivered by the cntracts (benchmarking where required) and als facilitating cllabratin, cntinuus imprvement and innvatin in the service. Main duties & respnsibilities 1. Supprt the Operatinal Prtfli Manager t develp the prtfli delivery strategy fr FM and day t day estates delivery fr the Mid/East r West Kent Prtfli. 2. Shw leadership and strng management t versee the effective management f a multidisciplinary team ensuring that all prperty assets are dealt with in the cntext f the statutry and fiduciary duties f a lcal authrity. 3. Be accuntable fr and develp delivery strategies t ensure that the prtfli meets its KPI s and cmmercial/perfrmance targets with the resurces that are available t meet the Cuncil requirements. 4. Lead n the prvisin f effective supply chain and cntract management that supprts wrking in a tw way partnership and cllabrative manner, in rder t align business utcmes, fster innvatin, manage risk and identify Unique Selling Pints fr the ttal Prperty ffer. Deliver the distinct but aligned disciplines f categry management (strategic prcess whereby supply capability is fully aligned t business gals and custmer requirements), cntract management (supplier perfrmance, KPIS, variatins) and supplier management (cst reductin initiatives, added value and cntinuus imprvement) in relatin t the TFM cntracts. 6. Ensure delivery f TFM supplier services t time, cst and quality in line with cntracts - including effective measurement, reprting and management f supplier perfrmance (including KPIs). This includes taking wnership fr ensuring technical cmpliance thrugh audit (wrking with the Building Maintenance Managers), checks and verificatin. Make sure Prperty is getting cst certainty where pssible, what it pays fr frm TFM suppliers and that there is n duplicatin f tasks in-huse. This include clse mnitring f variable spend and csts assciated with legacy/inherent issues and als managing change cntrl t scpe and fees. 7. Wrk with TFM suppliers t ensure that they prvide maximum input, value quality and supprt int the Prperty team s active prtfli apprach, Asset Management Plan targets and ther business bjectives including fr example energy/utilities savings measures, data capture, Crprate Landlrd transfers and service charge re-charging t tenants. 8. Supprt in the develpment f the sales strategy fr TFM cntracts in rder t maximise incme generatin and deliver custmer satisfactins with these prducts. Page4
