OF BIHAR ADVERTISMENT F THE POST OF DIRECTS IN POWER UTILITIES Gov. of Bihar (GoB) invites application for the posts of Directors in its various Power Utilities i.e. Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd., Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd., Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd., North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. and South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd., notified under The Bihar State Electricity Reforms Transfer Scheme, 2012 dated as per the details given below: For Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd.: Director (HR) and Director (Finance) For Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd.: Director (Technical) and Director (Finance) For Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd.: Director (Operations), Director (Projects), and Director (Finance) For North Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd.: Director (Operations), Director (Projects), and Director (Finance) For South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd.: Director (Operations), Director (Projects), and Director (Finance) Qualifications: Name of Post Qualification Experience Director (Technical) Director (Operations) Director (Projects) Director (HR) Director (Finance) Engineering Graduate in Electrical/ Electronics & Engineering Graduate in Electrical/ Electronics & IAS/ Central Services Group A (IRS/ ICES) Engineering Graduate in Electrical/ Electronics & MBA (HR) or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations from a recognized Institute/University IAS/ Central Services Group A CA/ ICWA/ MBA (Finance) from a recognized Institute/ University IAS/ Central Services Group A (IAAS/ IRAS/ IDAS/ ITAS) Compensation: o Pay Scale: Rs.37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- with annual increment of 3% o o o o o Minimum 15 years, out of which should have served for 10 years in the Power Sector Minimum 15 years, out of which should have served for 10 years in the Power Sector Minimum 4 years Minimum 15 years in projects and technical side out of which at least 10 years should be in the Power Sector Minimum 15 years, out of which should have served for 10 years in the Power Sector Minimum 4 years Minimum 15 years, out of which should have served for 10 years in the Power Sector Minimum 4 years For candidates from IAS/ Central Services Group A / IES, compensation will be as per their Cadre Rules/ Parent Organisation Rules For candidates from PSUs: The candidates will be given the option to opt the scales notified herein with pay protection as per extant Govt. Rules or to take their Parent Organisation pay plus a Deputation Allowance subject to a maximum of 25% of Basic Pay + DA For Retied Employees from Govt. Departments / PSUs: The Search Committee will have the power to offer stage in the designated scale. The pay fixation will be guided by the extant Govt. Rules factoring in the pension drawn For Private Sector Employees: The Search Committee will have the power to offer stage in the designated scale. For Director (Projects): Minimum experience of 15 years in projects and technical side out of which at least 10 years experience should be in the Power Sector In depth knowledge of project planning and management techniques and experience of managing large projects in a large organisation 4. For Director (HR): Minimum experience of 15 years, out of which should have served for 10 years in the Power Sector dealing in various aspects of Human Resource Management Candidates from IAS/ Central Services Group A with minimum 4 years experience 5. Department/ PSU Employees: The officers working in Central/State Government and in Central/State PSUs possessing the required qualification and experience can be considered for selection on deputation basis. They should submit their applications through proper channel. For Private Sector Employees: Executives should be working in companies where the annual turnover of Rs.50crores or more. IV.
