WFO offers three partnership levels Standard, Silver and Gold to ensure we can work with our partners at the level that makes the most sense to them. After this meeting, all you need to do is return a signed copy of your selected appropriate partnership agreement and full payment. As soon as we receive these items, WFO will send you your referral form and you can begin referring clients to WFO! 2 PROGRAMS & REFERRAL PROCEDURES Professional Image Program WFO provides professional clothing and professional image coaching to the men and women of our community to help our clients gain a more positive sense of self and empower them to become confident applicants and successful employees. WFO s boutiques are designed to make each client feel at ease and clients work one on one with a volunteer stylist to select the clothing that works best for them based on their career goals. Our clothing and accessories are high quality, clean and virtually new. Who should I refer? Before referring your clients (who are actively seeking employment) to WFO, please ask the following three questions: 1. Does my client have an interview scheduled or are they likely to have one in the next two weeks? 2. Is my client prepared for the interview? 3. Is there a strong probability my client will be offered the position? If you answer yes to all three, please send a referral form our way! OR, if your client is newly employed, you may refer them directly for a working wardrobe using the same referral process. They will be asked to bring in proof of employment (offer letter, paystub, etc.) with them to their appointment. How does it work? Please fully complete WFO s referral form and fax it to Once WFO receives the referral, we will call the client directly to schedule appointment. During their one hour appointment at either WFO s Oakland or Concord boutique, clients work one on one with a personal stylist to select 1-2 professional interview outfits, appropriate for the position they are seeking. Once a client receiving an initial interview suit has secured employment, they are encouraged to call WFO directly for a working wardrobe, up to a week of professional clothing for their new job. No additional paperwork is necessary. Interview Workshops WFO partners with companies across the Bay Area to help clients network directly with potential employers while practicing their interview skills. These high-energy events include a one hour refresher course on interview skills followed by the chance to practice interviewing with up to four different professionals in the field. Who should I refer? Partners are encouraged to bring jobseekers who are about to enter or in the interviewing process. How does it work? WFO s Program Specialist contacts referral partners directly about upcoming workshops that are a good match for your clients. If you have a specific industry request, please feel free to contact our program specialist at x215. Partners are expected to recruit clients who are actively interviewing (or preparing to do so) and to prepare them for the event, ensuring each individual dresses professionally, brings a minimum five copies of their resume and, when possible, to bring business cards! The partner must send the complete list of participants and their phone numbers to Hank Ramirez at hramirez@wardrobe.org a minimum of 72 hours before the event.

3 Pathways for Men and Pathways for Women Pathways is an intensive six-week, evening career development program that helps participants who are ready to be excellent on the job. With sessions focusing on conflict resolution, problem solving, taking initiative, action-planning and effective communication, Pathways graduates come away motivated and empowered to lay the foundation for a successful future. Since its launch, over 90% of graduates retain employment and annual income increased by an average 23%. Who should I refer? Please give the applications to your employed clients who are transitioning to employment, feeling stuck in a low-wage job, or looking for the next step in their career. How does it work? Clients must complete an application and pay a $25 processing fee. WFO will contact applicants directly to invite them to an orientation and schedule an in-person interview. Gold and Silver Partners can refer clients with priority applications to do so, clients must reference the organization on their application. Success Series Success Series is a unique year-long career advancement program that helps participants build successful and meaningful careers. The program incorporates three months of weekly training, three months with one-on-one career coaching and six months with a community mentor. Six months into the program, clients have already experienced an average 15% increase in annual income. Who should I refer? Partners are encouraged to share applications with clients who are working and looking to take their career to the next level. This program includes training but, most importantly, helps each individual set goals, create a detailed plan and provides them the support to begin taking the steps. For motivated individuals ready for the next step, send them WFO s way! How does it work? Clients must complete an application and pay a $50 processing fee. WFO will contact applicants directly to invite them to an orientation and schedule an in-person interview. Gold and Silver Partners can refer clients with priority applications to do so, clients must reference the organization on their application.

4 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is WFO s Cancellation Policy? Because of the high volume of clients in need of appointments, it is important that every effort is made to keep scheduled appointments of all kinds. If a client must cancel their appointment, we ask for 24-hour notice. Please ensure your clients are informed about our cancellation policy when they complete the referral form; WFO will inform them of the policy when we schedule their appointment AND will give them a reminder call the day before their scheduled appointment. If a client does not call within the 24-hour cancellation period and/or does not show up, he/she will be ineligible for any further appointments. What should I do if my client has an interview in the next few days? If your client has an interview scheduled, please report the day and time on the referral form AND call WFO Client Coordinator at x211 immediately after sending the referral form. We will work directly with the referral agent to schedule the client ASAP. DO NOT give WFO s phone number to the clients this will ensure WFO is able to provide the best service possible. What is an image workshop? How can I schedule one for my organization? WFO delivers an interactive and engaging one-hour image workshop for up to thirty participants including clothing samples and professional dressing tips for men and women. To request an image workshop, please call WFO Program Specialist Hank Ramirez at x 215. WFO needs a minimum four week notice. These workshops can be conducted at WFO or at your location for a minimum of five and a maximum of thirty clients. What are WFO s quarterly reports? WFO prepares a report for our partners each quarter that shows the status of your client referrals, your organization s show rate, and client employment rate. This is devised to keep you abreast of our partnership and, if there are any challenges, to bring them to the surface during the year so we can work together to improve our partnership! You will receive your report the month after a quarter ends. We request that each of our partner s to send the report back within one week with individual client s employment status. 5 STANDARD PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WFO is thrilled to welcome you as a Standard Partner. In signing this agreement, you are committing to a partnership with WFO from January 1 st December 31 st, WFO will provide 25 referrals for clients to receive either an initial interview or working wardrobe. All served clients are eligible to return for a working wardrobe within a year of their first appointment and will be invited to Style for a Steal events. General applications for Pathways and Success Series. One image workshop for up to 30 clients delivered at your organization. Quarterly reports of partnership status and results to date. The Standard Partner will be asked to refer clients that will achieve the following results- 95% of clients referred are able to be scheduled and 95% show to their appointment 75% of referrals will have a job interview within 30 days of their appointment. 50% of referrals will secure employment within 30 days. 75% of working wardrobe referrals will maintain employment for three months after receiving their appointment. In addition, as a WFO partner, you are committing to the following: Refer clients to WFO s services when the services are the most effective. Send full payment of $1000 within 30 days of signing this agreement. Verify that client referral forms are completely filled out and retain a copy for your record. Ensure clients understand WFO s policies and procedures before they come to their appointment including our 24 - hour cancellation policy ( if a client does not cancel their appointment 24-hours in advance, they will not be rescheduled). Partners are required to track their own program usage - if you use more than their allotted referral slots, you will be billed accordingly, based on the individual program pricing. The Gold Partner will be asked to refer clients that will achieve the following results- 95% of clients referred are able to be scheduled and 95% show to their appointment 75% of referrals will have a job interview within 30 days of their appointment. 50% of referrals will secure employment within 30 days. 75% of working wardrobe referrals will maintain employment for three months after receiving their appointment. The Pay as You Go Standard Partner will be asked to refer clients that will achieve the following results- 95% of clients referred are able to be scheduled and 95% show to their appointment 75% of referrals will have a job interview within 30 days of their appointment. 50% of referrals will secure employment within 30 days. 75% of working wardrobe referrals will maintain employment for three months after receiving their appointment. In addition, as a WFO partner, you are committing to the following: Refer clients to WFO s services when the services are the most effective. Partners are required to track their own program usage - if you use more than your paid referral slots, you will be billed accordingly, at $50/client.
