1 Role Profile: Asset Management Shift Maintenance Technician Job Purpose Working as part of the Operations Shift Team, carry out operations and Maintenance associated work to the highest safety and quality standards whilst adhering to plans and schedules. Having extensive knowledge of the Utilities Business s Assets, monitor the performance of plant and equipment in their area. Key Result Areas 1. Positively encourage a culture of safety first. 2. Carry out other activities (flexibilities) outside normal trade for which training has been given (operations and maintenance activities where applicable). 3. Operate all aspects of Maximo/UMIS proficiently. 4. Liaise with contractor and technical support. 5. Submit permit requests and accept permits. 6. Ensure meter readings and data validations are completed at the appropriate time, so that the Asset Management revenue stream can be secured. 7. Ensure adherence to safe systems of work at all times. 8. Take ownership of problems through to completion 9. To use and review best practice condition monitoring techniques. 10. To use and review best practice hydrocarbon/chemical management. 11. To be actively involved in defect elimination. 12. To be actively involved in Planned Maintenance Optimisation 13. Undertaking reactive breakdown diagnosis and repair. 14. Involvement in project work including installation and commissioning of new equipment, machine modifications, improvement works, etc. 15. Generating and implementing continuous improvement ideas. 16. Maintaining equipment logs and shift handovers. 17. Give and receive training as required. 18. Produce shiftly log in own area of responsibility 19. Lead problem solving activities in own area of expertise.

2 Skills and Qualifications Essential HNC HV Grade 4 and HV04 Health and Safety focused Time served Feels accountability for assets in their area Detailed knowledge of plant and equipment in their area Flexible approach Positive attitude Ability to work to strict deadlines. Basic contractor management, organisational or technical skills. Ability to read and understand drawings. Good understanding of Sembcorp (UK) management procedures. Good process operational appreciation. Authorised to accept Work Control Permits. Team player Leadership qualities and behaviours Strong problem solving skills Strong communication skills Self motivated Ability to work under pressure Take a lead role in maintenance activities involving agency contractors and other Sembcorp staff. Stand in for Supervisor and Planners as required.
