1 CVS Caremark Online Application Reference Guide There are two sections to the online application. Section I To apply, visit jobs.cvscaremark.com and click Retail Store Page 1

3 Step 1: Enter the criteria For example, select Cashier in Job Category and select 5 miles, United States, California, and San Francisco in Proximity search Step 2: Select the position you want to apply displayed on Search results and click apply to job to apply To view job description, click on the number in REQ ID column on Search results Page 3

5 Step 3: A new window pops up for Gateway Questionnaire log in/create login Click Password security tips to open a new window displaying the tips for setting your password Once you have created a login, there are 8 parts to the application: Instructions, Profile, Source, EEO, Additional Information, Review, WOTC and Submit. Tip: Have your resume and master application available for easy reference to complete work history details. You will need to list employer information on the application for the last 10 years. 6 Navigating buttons are on the bottom of the page Part 2: Profile Upload or paste resume. Cover letter is optional. At any time you can save the application as a draft and it will remain active for 30 days, but the job(s) may expire or be removed earlier. You can go back to view saved drafts. Page 6

16 Section II To be eligible to move forward in the hiring process, the Virtual Job Tryout must be completed. If accommodations are needed, please contact Shaker Help Desk at immediately between 8am to 8pm EST, 7 days a week to make the request. CVS Caremark Virtual Job Tryout FAQ 1. What is the Virtual Job Tryout (VJT)? It is a pre-hire assessment to determine if the candidate is a fit for the position. VJT questions are broken down into two parts: technical questions and scenario questions. There is not one knock out question. The VJT as a whole is not timed but there is a small section that is timed. Candidate can select English or Spanish audio and text versions. Candidate can stop VJT and go back to it. The information can be saved to finish later. A reminder will be received in 24 hours. To be eligible to move forward in the hiring process, the Virtual Job Tryout must be completed. The candidate can call VJT tech support at for tech support such as computer issues. The tech agent cannot assist with job application status or career issues. 2. Can an applicant make a request for an accommodation? Yes, applicants may contact the Shaker Help Desk at between 8am to 8pm EST, 7 days a week to request an accommodation. Requests for an accommodation will be reviewed on a case by case basis by CVS Caremark Employee Relations team with support from the Shaker Consulting group. Shaker Help Desk, is the same number as the tech support but once the candidate requests an accommodation, it will be rerouted to the accommodation team.
