1 operations SOP Purpose: Employees will use the Dayforce Touch Clock, the mobile app, or the Dayforce website to inform their supervisor of changes to their default availability. In most cases, employee will continue to work the same schedule, however the supervisor may schedule an employee who is available to cover for co-worker who is requesting time away from work. They default availability is intended to clearly communicate which days/times an employee is unable to work due to other commitments. Flexibility from all employees will allow supervisors to approve time away from work requests because they will have the necessary coverage available to do so. Applicability: Hourly employees Policy: Employees may update their default availability to work. Employees must be available to work at least 12 hours per week. Changes in availability are subject to approval by the supervisor(s). Limiting availability may result in reduced hours or no hours at all. Requests for changes to availability must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the effective date of the change. Procedure: DAYFORCE TOUCH CLOCK Tap Self Service. This is where you'll access the Availability feature. Use the keypad to enter your unique badge number. Next, update your availability to be scheduled. Tap Availability. Navigate to the date you'd like to change. NOTE: We will only be editing default availability, changing availability long-term, not on a weekly basis.

2 You may notice some weeks are uneditable. There may be blackout periods when you're unable to change your availability. Tap Next. Tap the date(s) you'd like to change. If you were only available for part of the day you would instead switch 'All Day' to 'Off' and set the times you're available to be scheduled. Tap On. To copy this availability to the rest of the week tap Copy Friday availability to. Tap Saturday. Tap Sunday. Tap Monday. Tap Tuesday. Tap Wednesday. Tap Thursday. Tap Done.

3 Tap Save. COMPUTER Select Work and click Calendar from the side menu bar. Select a future date and click Availability and select Edit default availability. NOTE: We will only be editing default availability, changing availability long-term, not on a weekly basis.

4 Confirm the date that the availability goes into effect. You're now able to click and drag the green bar to increase, decrease, or move your existing availability. You can also check or uncheck whole days that you are not available. Click the OK button. Once you click ok, the request has been sent to your manager for approval. Until it is approved, your current availability will not change. Your requested availability will appear below your current availability with a yellow 'Pending' indicator. CANCELING YOUR REQUEST To cancel your pending availability, click the date on the calendar, and select Availability, and select Cancel Pending Request.

5 MOBILE APP From the menu, select Availability. From the menu, select Edit my Default.

6 Tap the day you want to edit. Select your availability for each day from the editor options: - To mark yourself as not available or not, tap the Available slider. - To toggle between all day and partial day availability, tap the All Day slider. - To specify your availability range(s) on days that you are available for part of the day, use the From and To controls. To add more than one range of availability (for example, if you're available from 9-12 and then again from 3-7), tap the Add another availability range button. - To copy your availability to another day, tap the Copy button. The app displays a control where you can select the day(s) you want to copy your availability to by tapping

7 Once you have defined your default availability, you can apply it to necessary weeks by selecting Use Default in the menu.
