3 COMPANY OVERVIEW The Forum is managed by The Forum Trust, an independent, self-financing charity. We have a broad brief which emphasises lifelong learning, and includes celebrating technology, discovery, history, heritage, creativity and culture. We are responsible for the main Forum building, 2 Millennium Plain, and the outside spaces in front of The Forum. We manage a large underground car park, and are landlords to a range of tenants including BBC East and Radio Norfolk, Pizza Express and Café Bar Marzano, the Tourist Information Centre and the Millennium Library. This business model enables the Trust to support the management and maintenance of the building, and provides an opportunity to create and deliver a diverse and varied programme of community events and activities, most of them free of charge, for people of all ages to enjoy. Recent projects and partnership events include: the Norwich Science Festival; Run Norwich; Makers Month; the Norwich Gaming Festival and Heritage Open Days. We could not achieve any of that on our own and the popularity of The Forum is the result of working with a wide range of partners. 4 JOB DESCRIPTION POST: Digital Marketing Producer Scope of the Post: You will be the online voice of The Forum Trust driving content across our website and social media platforms, and working as part of a busy and ambitious events team. Key Activities: To work alongside our Marketing Manager in delivering and developing our digital communications and social media activity: Event Marketing Maintain and develop the public profile of The Forum Trust s work online and our year-round programme of events Designing and delivering multi-platform marketing campaigns for a wide variety of public facing events and other aspects of The Forum Trust s work. Content and Message Development Create and deliver compelling content for our website and engaging social media conversations and content for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms as appropriate Manage and develop The Forum Trust s website, using editorial, design, copy writing and website production skills Assist in the production of printed material using marketing, editorial, copy writing and proofreading skills Audience Development Market our events and activities online using excellent copy writing, marketing, partnership working and communication skills Reach out to new audiences via creative and exciting digital communications using an appropriate tone of voice Assist in the planning and implementation of other PR activity including writing press releases, liaising with the media, and organising photo, filming and interview opportunities.

5 PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Desirable Qualifications 5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent including English A levels or equivalent in humanities Experience Skills Personal Attributes Proven experience in digital marketing and copy writing for a variety of digital platforms Experience of planning and creating engaging social media content and conversations Knowledge of content management systems Understanding of web usability, accessibility and user experiences Knowledge of legal and copyright issues in digital marketing Experience of collating and interpreting analytics and using this information to make content more engaging and shareable Proven experience of search engine optimisation and knowledge of Adwords and other advertising Experience of creative design systems and tools such as Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong IT skills Ability to plan and prioritise workload A thorough approach to work with excellent attention to detail Evidence of ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks Self-motivated and well organised Team worker Creative and willing to offer solutions to problems Digital marketing qualification (IDM, CIM or similar) Management of a digital supplier relationship Previous experience creating content for managed digital display networks Experience using platforms such as Hootsuite to manage multiple social media accounts Video, audio and editing skills Able to work on own initiative using a strategic approach Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

6 MAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS Detailed below are the main terms and conditions of employment: Hours Your core hours of work will be 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, from time to time your role may require you to work outside of the normal working hours set out above. This can include weekends, bank holidays, evenings and/or nights. For working any additional hours outside of your normal working week, time off in lieu will be granted, generally in the week before or after the event in line with operational needs. Payment of Salary Monthly Bank Transfer on the 20 th of each month. Annual Leave Leave allowance is 25 days per annum plus bank and public holidays. Pension Arrangements The Forum Trust will make a contribution of up to 5% of salary matched by an employee contribution, once the probation period has been successfully completed.
