Prof's Specialists and M Mgt NQF 6 (1 st Deg) Draft To Control the National procurement of quality goods and services both Locally and Internationally at the best prices, by applying strategic Procurement Principles and by applying specific procedures to enable proper and timeous identification of order requirements

Ensure clerical and administrative ordering process is maintained including regular price list updates 1.2. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures and propose improvements based on best practice principles 1.3. Ensure 3 quotations are received at all times 1.4. Source the correct products at the best price therefore ensuring cost savings 1.5. Ensure efficiency of supply at all times 2. Supply and Value Chain Management 2.1. Source the best supplier globally and determine number of suppliers required 2.2. Focus on costs, quality, delivery and inventory costs 2.3. Determine customer value to add value to company final products Purchasing and Procurement done in accordance with company policies and procedures and ensuring administrative and clerical duties are in order Correctly sourced suppliers who provide cost effective quality service that adds value to the entire supply chain process 3. Data Collection and Analysis 3.1. Effectively use data sources such as ERP, Finance and Production (Barco) 3.2. Make use of surveys Data analysed and interpreted in a manner that benefits the company 4. Cost Management 4.1. Find cost effective purchase price Costs are controlled and managed 4.2. Maintain low transaction and overhead costs 4.3. Determine highest cost productivity 4.4. Ensure logistics efficiencies 5. Contractor / Vendor Management 5.1. Negotiate best possible prices and service delivery 5.2. Select vendors by using Requests for: Information, Proposals and or Quotations Suitable vendor management principles are applied that are fair and in the best interest of the company. Service delivery from Vendors are assured 5.3. Manage vendors / suppliers i.t.o performance and deliverables 5.4. Structure, implement and manage Service Level Agreement s 5.5. Manage and maintain relationship with approved suppliers 5.6. Manage company vendor master file 6. Stock Control Management 6.1 Ensure that correct stock levels are maintained Proper stock control and reporting 6.2 Support Logistics manager i.t.o. specific procurement needs, stock and storekeeping applications 7. Reporting 7.1 Provide management with regular reports as required from time to time Management reports done on time and correctly, providing management with sufficient information to make informed decisions QUALIFICATIONS Required qualification Degree B Degree in Procurement /similar DEFINITION Minimum formal educational qualification required to perform to the desired standard.
