3 Liberia Launched SDGs on January 26, 2016 by Her Excellency President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Tentatively selected 7 SDGs goals for implementation with additional 2 under consideration 1. SDG 3 (Health) 2. SDG 4 (Education) 3. SDG 5 (Gender Equality) 4. SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) 5. SDG 9 (Infrastructure) 6. SDG 16 (Peaceful Society) 7. SDG 17 (Global Partnership) 8. SDG 7 (Electricity)???? 9. SDG 13 (Climate Change)???? Agreed institutional arrangement for SDGs coordination, implementation and reporting through Liberia Development Alliance mechanism 1

4 Developed Roadmap for SDGs domestication Conducted harmonization mapping of SDGs and Agenda 2063 to AfT 1. Conducted mapping in the context of AfT Pillar structure 2. Identified points of convergence and divergence 3. Mapped SDGs and Agenda 2063 indicators to AfT 52 National Key Indicators 4. 6 Developed draft Communication Strategy for SDGs and next development plan awareness Conducted alignment of the Pro Poor Manifesto to the SDGs, 11 Budget Sectors and Vision 2030 Identified development priority areas (infrastructure development, education and training, health, agriculture, and youth development) for FY development plan and budget that are SDGs sensitive Current Government identified five (5) priority areas for 1 st Year of the medium term aligned to 11 SGDs goals Developed Concept Note on the Development of the Medium Term National Development Plan ( ) Developing the Results Framework and M&E Plan Matrix for medium term development plan 4
