1 "Sally presented a workshop for our team last week! Brilliant! If you're looking for someone to turn on some light bulbs around productivity, look Sally up!" - Marilyn Davies - Harcourts PRODUCTIVE TEAMS Workshop Achieve More Reduce Stress Take Back 2 Hours Per Day

2 PRODUCTIVE TEAM WORKSHOP biiwh7ri3wah3scch In the work I've done with teams across many industries and countries there are some common struggles that almost every team has: Not sure how to prioritise their work, and when to stop and re-prioritse. Working long hours, that lead to prolonged fatigue that leads to poor, delayed and costly output or quality of work. Not speaking up early when issues arise, often stating: "I don't want to be blamed for this problem." "Surely I can work this out." "I don't want to look like a failure." Procrastinating because they don't know where to start, or don't see the task as their responsibility. Not actively participating in performance conversations because they don't see it as an opportunity for development. Not clear and confident of what's expected of them. What keeps employees awake at night is the fear of failing, the sense of maybe not being cut out for work assigned to them, not meeting their KPI's, numbers or organisational expectations. Maybe they realise the work is not what they thought it would be and feel trapped in a job they don't want. They also fear letting their boss and other team members down and feel stuck between asking for help and not feeling as though they can ask for the help they need to be productive contributors to the team and the organisation. Teams with high employee engagement rates are 21% more productive. Gallup T<3hl

3 Without awareness, skills and focus, results will never reflect the desired level of productivity. It s about working more effectively within the team, getting the work done, understanding the team members better so they can collaborate and contribute more effectively: greater self and team INSIGHT! Productive teams stop reacting and maintain focus on the work and the goals, RESOLVING to park non-relevant ideas, respectfully challenge assumptions, seek to understand before pushing to be understood. Productive teams are DISCERNING about how they work together to achieve the more effective and efficient outcomes. This includes working on building their interpersonal communication skills, understanding conflict and how to minimise destructive conflict, giving and receiving feedback. Productive teams ACHIEVE their goals through planning, prioritising their work, identifying potential road blocks early and working together as a team not a group. Understanding group dynamics and group roles helps boost productivity. Instead of just getting by, productive teams are prolific and are constantly adding value to the rest of the team, the department and the business, that is, they have the time, energy and focus to find way to PROSPER personally and for the business. 9 TESTIMONIALS: Emma Rhodes, Brach Manager at BCU, previously Nortec Small Business Solutions We have just finished a 3 month program working with Sally, and her approach to our team was refreshing and genuine. She allowed us to see a bit of the 'real' Sally, and challenged us in ways we needed to be challenged as a team. I have no doubt we will continue to work together a strong team, moving into the future. Thanks Sally! 10 WHAT MY BEST CLIENTS HAVE EXPERIENCED Facilitating Collaboration. Brought together multiple remote community and government stakeholders for improved access to funding. Through collaboration, the group increased and improved their funding from a single minor grant once every two years to multiple successful grants annually.this can include briefings, evaluations, self-assessments or interviews as required to ensure the right balance and content for your leaders. Improving productivity and governance through organisational change using verified and tested evidence. This included comping state-by-state policies and procedures and challenging traditional boundary loyalies. The result was uncovering false database reporting, unnecessary insurance expenses and improving customer and stakeholder experiences. Measuring and improving performance in a quasi-military professional association. The project included building specialist staff capacity to increase and improve feedback conversations, track progress and empower innovation. Coaching early childcare group (20 centre directors) building clarity for nonnegotiable elements, such as compliance and legislation, in comparison with more human and flexible practices for delegation and staff development. Facilitating and coaching leaders within a paramedic organisation to distinguish rigid practices, such as processes for patent care, versus the more human and flexible practices within leadership, such as feedback and 'difficult' conversations. Coaching multiple clinician clients to use process awareness when delivering performance feedback and mapping their own intervention design for maximum effect. Clinicians leant to identify the flow, structure and logical steps of this process enables clients to be confident as they reframe feedback to lead change and boost productivty. Leading the diagnostic process for clients undertaking improvement projects to discover root cause of obstacles to project success. For example, senior leader micro management, over-controlling, lack of delegation and setting clear expectations, avoiding performance conversations and impact assessment as FTE hours and costs over history periods. 11 FAQs: How long does the program take? The Productive Team program is designed to maximise productivity and therefore is spread over a number of weeks. Following each workshop, participants are expected to implement their learning and reflect on the results. The timing between each workshop is deliberate as it will give participants time to implement and reflect. A coaching component can be added to this program as an added resource for boosting productivity. How flexible is this program? This program has been developed based on more than 15 years of leadership and learning and development experience. The program and the inclusions are designed to ensure the best results. If you have any questions about the program contents and inclusions, please do let me know: or sally@sallyfoleyleiws.com How do I get buy-in from my leaders? Having run hundreds of workshops, coaching and mentoring programs and finding out first-hand what works and what doesn't, I recommend employees, in the first instance, self-select to participate. When their sense of ownership over their own development is encouraged and supported, the results will be seen sooner. Through explicit and continual support from senior leaders, participants will be more prepared to implement their learning. What I encourage is for employees who do have some resistance or hesitation to speak with me to answer questions and dissipate concerns. A short group webinar for senior leaders to provide some guidance in how to support the participants has been an affective exercise. How do you prove success / a return on investment? Success is measured in multiple ways. Participants responses to the program is the initial measure. If you opt for the full program I will work with you and your team to calculate a financial return on investment that also provides participants with, in addition to a tangible figure, a motivator to continue their development journey. How many participants can I book into this program? To ensure quality of interaction and one-on-one attention, the optimal number of participants per program is 15. If you have more than 15 people identified to undertake the program, multiple programs can be delivered or a revised quote can be provided. I have other questions what should I do? Please contact me directly on or via at sally@sallyfoleylewis.com. I would be pleased to answer any additional queries you may have. T<3 SS
