5 It s not just buzz words. Culture is the character and personality of the organization. Culture is often the unwritten rules and norms. All organizations have a culture and often subcultures. Culture happens and cannot be avoided.

9 WHY IT MATTERS A strong culture can be an incredible way to retain and engage the best employees and foster talent. As much as a strong culture propels the organization forward, a dysfunctional culture can harm the organization and disengage employees.

10 WHAT WE KNOW Employees contribute to culture. Engaged employees are an organization's best assets. Employees have the power to drive business results, impact customer satisfaction, represent the brand and move the organization forward.
