Public Safety Consulting Mishigami has the background and talent to help your department develop individuals through collective training scenarios when dealing with complex situations. Our designers have worked for the last seven years developing training scenarios for the Department of Defense with asymmetric warfare and anti-terrorism techniques. We can help design events or programs that will train your force to successfully counter current terrorism tactics, techniques, and procedures. Expertise Includes: Counter Improvised Explosive Devices/Terrorism/Sniper Social Media Forensics Photo DNA Geospatial Exploitation Unmanned Vehicle Integration (Both aerial and ground) Crime Scene Forensics and Photography Collective Training Event Planning Mishigami Group brings together agencies from across the map for collaborative training opportunities that will be beneficial to all parties. MGI has the ultimate goal of training first responders how to react in complex situations and increase their ability to save lives. At Mishigami Group, if we don t have the answer to your problem in-house, we are dedicated to find the right personnel to assist you.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems for Public Safety Modern police departments are facing numerous challenges, from budget cuts to increasingly sophisticated criminals. Tactical situations have risen in complexity, along with public expectations to maintain safety for all citizens. Modern police forces must remain nimble and responsive in the highly dynamic situations they face. Small UAVs that fit in any police vehicle give law enforcement teams broad situational awareness, allowing them to formulate an appropriate response in challenging environments. Threat detection is fundamental to saving the lives of officers and protecting civilians. At MGI the focus is on the entire system and is not limited to UAV technology. We start by assessing the department s needs and helping to link up all aspects of the UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) program. We provide a variety of turnkey solutions including the following services: Help Identify Needs Identify Operator Needs Identify Maintenance Needs Create Budget Identify Funding Stream Aquire Technology Train Operators on Technology Train Maintainers Train Best Practices Integrate into Operations Incorporate a Public Relations Concept Develop a ROI

UAS UAVs and Sensors Mishigami Group researches the best technology in the industry and works with manufacturers to integrate their technology in our programs. MGI has a concise and strategic portfolio of UAV manufacturersfor any need on the market. We have developed a strategic partnership with DJI, the world s number one UAV manufacturer. (DJI however is not the only UAV manufacturer we have relationships with, we can provide reccomendations for many other key players in the market based on specific requirements.) Pictured above is the Matrice 600, the newest industrial UAV produced by DJI. The Matrice 600 can be outfitted with most sensors, commercially available, providing versitility and the ability to meet any departments needs. The UAV pictured to the left is the Inspire 1 V2.0 from DJI. This model is designed to be carried in a backpack or in each squad car, giving personnel the ability to quickly have eyes in the sky upon arrival on any scene. In short, the UAV places the capabilities of a helicopter readily available for tactical support in each officer s tool bag. Speed is critical in any search and rescue mission and can help save a life. The DJI Zenmuse XT thermal camera, developed in collaboration with thermal imaging experts FLIR, provides rescuers with an easily deployable aerial thermal imaging system. The technology dramatically accelerates the search for missing people by highlighting thermal signatures that can even see through foliage.

UAS Training and Integration Mishigami Group knows the importance of training in departments integrating Unmanned Aircraft into a department s toolkit. Without proper training, the technology cannot be used efficiently or safely. Training helps provide the largest return on investment. MGI offers four courses designed to train entire departments on Unmanned Aircraft Systems and the problems they may encounter with hobbyist UAV pilots. Department Chalk Talk The conversation is designed to last two hours and addresses two questions often asked by law enforcement personnel: 1. How do we legally develop a UAS program? 2. How do we protect against them? We will discuss some of the basic needs for a department to start their own program, as well as discuss what a department can do to enforce the FAA laws pertaining to drone operations. Entry Level UAS Safety Course With the opening of (Class G) airspace in the Fall of 2016, to all hobbyists and recreational pilots as well the exponetial growth seen in the suas industry over the last 5 years, it is important to educate all pilots about the expectations of all UAV pilots. Hobbyists and those flying UAVs recreationally will not be required under part 107 to obtain a remote pilot certification. This 6-hour class provides an indepth over-view of the most important safety practices and legalities, with regards to UAV operation. Classes are offered online and throughout the State of Michigan by local instructors. Remote Pilot in Command Course and Test Prep Under the new part 107, a person can become a certified remote pilot by taking a 60 question remote pilot in command test administered by the FAA. Our test preparation course covers all UAS operations to ensure success on the FAA examination. The course walks you through each aspect of the UAV flight, from prelight inspections to post flight maintenance. This course is available online or in person, in conjunciton with our strategic partners. Scenario Specific Specialized Training for Public Safety Mishigami Group, in cooperation with Northwestern Michigan College, has developed scenarios and curriculum to train first responders for any situation they may encounter.

UAS Maintenance As unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAVs) age and technology advances, the demand for skilled UAV technicians will increase. MGI s certified UAV technicians concentrate on the repair and replacement of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, radio frequency paths, and propulsion and fuel systems. MGI s UAV technicians repair, replace, and perform operational and preventive checks and alignments on aircraft flight controls, stabilization systems, avionics, and controlled cryptographic equipment. This includes troubleshooting equipment wiring harnesses, electrical components, and radio frequency paths. In addition to the UAV, MGI technicians perform repairs, maintenance, and updates on all UAV support equipment including: Ground control stations Ground data terminals and communication systems Takeoff and landing systems Computer software and networks Mishigami s goal is to keep you in the air and ready to be deployed around the clock, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year. We take maintenance seriously, for an industry that must be ready to deploy on a moment s notice.

UAS Legal and Funding Legal As UAS rules and regulations enforced by the FAA evolve, so must your organizartion. At Mishigami Group, we have the ability and legal know how to ensure your business is always up to date and ready to fly. One of the basic approvals you ll need is a Certificate of Waiver or Authorization (COA). This authorization is issued by the FAA in coordination with local Air Traffic Control towers in your jurisdiction. It is critical to obtain a COA before your first flight. The application process can be complicated and lengthy. Mishigami Group legal experts can ensure your operation is approved so you are ready to fly. We have developed relationships with Air Traffic Controllers, airport managers, and the FAA to ensure a collaberative approach through the process. Our legal services include: Certificate of Waiver or Authorization Development UAS Registration for each of your aircrafts Small UAS Rule (Part 107) interpretation and exemptions Funding Our team is qualified to put together a complete funding package for each client. MGI has relationships with agencies responsible for awarding grants and other funds throughout the state. Our partnership with Drone Financing Unlimited provides clients with the option to lease an UAS. Funding is an important piece in successfully launching an UAS program. Mishigami does its best to make it as painless as possible for the client. Mishigami Group believes in the vision for each client and has the background and ability to link together unique funding opportunities with grants, financing and other funds

UAS Anti-UAV Radar Our product portfolio includes UAV detection and tracking systems. By 2025, there are expected to be 90 million UAVs flying in national US airspace. Our systems provide you the capability to search your airspace, detect and track intruders, assess the threat and prevent small drones from penetrating critical infrastructure. Our systems can be custom integrated to fit specific or generic needs including: Governmental Buildings Airports Stadiums Prisons Intellectual Property Critical Infrastructure Key Players in Anti-UAV Radar Market
