1 Introduction We, DONG-A PRECISION CO., LTD started in 98 as the first company in Korea to localize single stage Injection & Stretch Blow Mold for the manufacture of PET Bottles. Beginning in 990, we began offering PET Preform Mold [machinery] for two stage process. We are ISO 900 certificated on the basis of accumulated experience and leading innovative technology. 2 COMPLETE INJECTION STRETCH BLOW MOLD Since 98, DONG-A have supplied complete sets of molds for single stage machines such as the NISSEI ASB & AOKI model, which consists of injection parts for preform, conditioning parts. Dong-A is one of the leading single stage PET tooling provider. We offer variety of three and four station ISBM tooling, from the pilot tool to production mold. 3 INJECTION PREFORM & BLOW MOLD An important segment of our business is the production of PET preform mold to meet all customers packaging needs. Since 990, DONG-A has been manufacturing PET preform molds for TWO STAGE process. We are able to manufacture high quality preform molds in all sizes up to 44 cavities. Two Stage Dong-A supplies a wide range of blow molds suitable for stretch reheat blow molding machines, such as Sidel, Krones, and many others. 4 INJECTION CLOSURES MOLD TRIAL SERVICES DONG-A supplies a wide variety of closures mold, such as thread, stripped / unscrewed, flip top / hinged, pilfer proof with cold runner or hot runner. Before shipment, the molds undergo a full scale runoff with our tryout production facilities such as NISSEI, AOKI, HUSKY, etc under similar manufacturing conditions of our customers. 5 RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT Dong-A s R&D center is dedicated to providing the optimum design of preform and container in order to meet the customer s needs of reaching maximum efficiency of the tooling. Moreover, we have developed re-heat stretch blow molding machine since 005, and formed an independent machinery division in 006 and upgraded to an independent division in 006. 6 BLOW MACHINE. Preform In-Feed Preforms are continuously fed from a feeder along a guide rail and separated individually automatically. Afterwards preforms sit on preform carriers.. Preform Heating Preforms are continuously rotated in the heating zone and infrared ovens heat the preform to prepare them for stretch-blow molding. This process results in the complete elimination of any remaining stress on preforms that may be created during the injection molding process. 3. Stretch-Blow Molding 4. Bottle Discharge Bottles transferred to the eject station unload from carriers in a discharge system and move to conveyor to be discharged. Hot preforms are transferred to a blow station. Then the blow mold closes momentarily, after which the stretch rod goes down with air blown into bottles. Approximately 0~40kg/ of air pressure is typically used as the high pressure results in stable and high quality products. After the blowing process, the blow mold opens and the bottle moves toward an eject station. 3

In addition to our mold manufacturing capabilities and expertise, DONG-A also produces bottles and preforms which allows us greater ability over our competitors to specialize in custom products, such as wide mouth jar (up to 5L) and deep pinch handle containers.
