FORKLIFT DETAILED PROGRAM Detailed learning program for the forklift, on multi-machines platforms Non-binding documents

ACREOS SIMULATION OBJECTIVES FORKLIFT This simulation pack developed by Acreos offers a complete learning experience for the operation and functions of a forklift. Multiples exercises allow trainees to acquire knowledge and skills in a simple way with increasing levels of difficulty. HOW IT WORKS The learning of the operation and functions of the equipment is made up of several modules, divided into 3 to 6 series of exercises. Each series is then divided into 10 to 60 exercises. Number of modules : 13 (Each module focuses on different aspects of the operation of a forklift). Number of exercises per module : From 10 to more than 60 exercises. According to the module, the exercises have similar or progressive level of difficulty. This way, the trainee follows a defined learning program, without starting again systematically from the first exercise of the module. THE ACREOS SOLUTION Gsta The GSTA software (Trainees learning management software), manages trainees learning process and progress. The trainee s learning progression is managed through each module and each series of exercises by preventing the trainee to move from one module (or exercise) to the next, unless it has been completed. This allows for a steb-by-step learning process and builds trainees muscle memory.

LEARNING MODULES The forklift educational program is made up of 13 modules : MODULE 1 IDENTIFYING THE CONTROLS Objective : To get familiar and develop hand-eye coordination on the machine controls. Actionnez le frein de stationnement - Number of exercises : 60 - Duration of each exercise : From 3 to 15 seconds MODULE 2 OPERATING AN UNLOADED FORKLIFT DRIVING FORWARD Objective : Learn to operate the machine forward through a marked trail, and to a defined zone. - Number of exercises : 45 MODULE 3 OPERATING AN UNLOADED FORKLIFT DRIVING BACKWARD Objective : Learn to operate the machine backward through a marked trail, and to a defined zone. - Number of exercises : 45

MODULE 4 MANAGING TIP-OVER RISKS WHILE OPERATING FORKLIFT Objective : Raise trainees awareness to the risk of forklift tip-over in order to develop safe operational practices. MODULE 5 MANAGING TIP-OVER RISKS ON DIFFERENT SURFACES Objective : Raise trainees awareness to the risk of forklift tip-over with obstacles and the different surface conditions that may be encountered (inclines, potholes, humps, rail tracks, oil or grease on the ground, etc.) in order to develop safe operational practices. - Series of exercises : 4 - Number of exercises : 40 MODULE 6 LOAD CAPACITY Objective : Learn to analyse a situation and take into account the forklift capacity based on the loads to be moved. - Series of exercises : 4 - Number of exercises : 40 - Duration of each exercise : From 30 to 90 seconds

MODULE 7 SIMPLE LOADING AND UNLOADING Objective : Become familiar with moving loads using different cases of simple loading. - Number of exercises : 45 MODULE 8 STACKING AND UNSTACKING, 2-LOAD STACK Objective : Learn to stack or unstack loads in different situations. MODULE 9 STACKING AND UNSTACKING, 3-LOAD STACK Objective : Learn to stack or unstack loads in different situations, with a 3-load stack. - Duration of each exercise : From 5 to 10 minutes

MODULE 10 LOADING AND UNLOADING A PALLET TRACK Objective : Learn to safely load or unload a pallet rack at different heights. MODULE 11 LOADING AND UNLOADING A TRUCK OR A TRAIN Objective : Learn how to load or unload a truck or a train. Both can be done from either side, or the back of the truck or train. MODULE 12 LOADING AND UNLOADING A TRUCK OR A TRAIN, WITH 2 LOAD Objective : Learn how to load or unload a truck or a train. Both can be done from either side, or the back of the truck or train.

MODULE 13 MOVING LONG, TALL OR BULKY LOADS Objective : Learn how to safely move long, tall and/or bulky loads in specific situations, like through a door. - Series of exercises : 2 - Number of exercises : 20
