Bag tensioning, hoist or forklift loading, height adjustability and the Posi-Flow agitation system make SacMaster (U.S. Patent 6,186,360) the right choice for titanium dioxide, sugar, calcium carbonate, cocoa powder, and a wide range of other bulk materials. 3 SacMaster Posi-Flow Adaptive Agitation When the bag is full of material, dual-pivot paddles push against the bottom of the bag to break material bridged over the outlet as well as agitate the sides of the bag near the spout, stimulating material movement. As the bag empties, the air cylinders push the paddles further toward the center of the bag until a proximity sensor located on one of the air cylinders determines that the bag is near empty. The proximity sensor holds the air cylinders in the extended position to empty the bag corners while continuing to pulse the bottom of the bag. This facilitates a smooth flow of material from the bag, eliminating waste and improving process efficiency. The entire bag including corners and spout are emptied. There are several preprogrammed agitation control settings that do not require an operator to set up timers and switches. The valve opens to the extension stroke to briefly agitate the bag sides. Magnetic Piston Bag Status: 1/4 full to empty. Agitation Requirements: Empty bag corners. Operation Description: Valve opens for an extended time to the extension stroke to empty the bag corners. The valve opens to the retraction stroke briefly to reposition the paddle.

5 Bag Tensioning Options Three pneumatic air springs, plumbed together, lift the shelf uniformly without binding as compared to independent springs with nested tubes. Adjustability in lifting force is provided with air spring pressure and digital control. Easy to load and unload shelf style design provides fast bag turnover with forgiving slide in, slide out changes. 6 SacMaster Modular Flexibility Bulk Bag Discharging Loss-In-Weight Schenck Process offers a complete loss-in-weight system along with its bulk bag discharging capabilities. The system includes a dust sock for reducing air borne materials and an integral refill hopper, which comes in both industrial and sanitary versions. A refill gate and flex connector ensure that the proper amount of material is being discharged from the bag into the feeder. The integrated feeder control meters the material according to the programmed specifications.
