This recent incident was in the vicinity of Edes Falls Rd and Town Farm Rd. If you see a wild animal hanging around, acting unusual or appearing like it wants to attack you or your dog or cat, stay away. Weekdays you can call the game warden at and after hours call the State Police at ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There will be 3 ordinances and an Inter-local Agreement on a municipal ballot this November for voters. The three ordinances are updates to the Dog Ordinance, Street Name & Numbering Ordinance and the Fireworks Ordinance. The Inter-local Agreement is for a shared Animal Control Officer with the Town of Bridgton. A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, Sept 18 th at 6:30pm to provide the public with an opportunity to speak on the updates. Saturday, September 15 th, 9 am 2 pm The Kiwanis Club of Norway- Paris is offering a free drop off at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School for electronic items that are no longer needed. Donations are accepted in lieu of a disposal fee. Details at the end of this update.

3 Harrison Village Library Annual Golf Tournament - Sunday, September 16 th At Lake Kezar Country Club see details at the end of the update. Firearms Hunter Safety Course Saturday Sept 22 nd (7:30-4) AND Sunday Sept 23 rd (8-4) At the Western Maine Fish & Game clubhouse, 1026 Norway Road, Harrison. Must attend both days. Fee of $5 covers both days. Students years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the entire program. Maximum capacity 40 students. Lunch of hotdogs, chips, soda and coffee with be available for purchase. Lake Region Fashion Show Saturday, October 13 th 7pm Returning for its 2 nd year at the Caswell Conservancy Center, 42 Main St, Harrison. This year s event will provide entertainment, an auction and refreshments. The show is sponsored by Firefly Boutique, Sassy & Blue, and Sports Haus Ski & Sport Shop, all located in Bridgton, and Kargos located in Windham. Richard Sykes will MC the event. The fee is $50 for Harrison/Waterford residents, $55 for all others. This includes your ticket, lunch, and transportation. 4 FREE Go Green Electronics Drop-off The Kiwanis Club of Norway-Paris invites you to an Electronics Recycling drop-off fundraiser event at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School parking lot No Disposal Fee! If you are like many area Maine residents who have old electronic devices taking up space in your closet or basement, then make your way to an electronics waste recycling event in South Paris on Saturday, September 15, 2018 The Kiwanis Club of Norway-Paris and ewaste Recycling Solutions are partnering to respond to the community's need for recycling consumer electronic devices by hosting this FREE drop off. This is a great opportunity to responsibly dispose of obsolete electronics: Televisions, monitors, computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, stereos, cameras, speakers, microwaves, cell phones, typewriters and calculators.
