6 CURRENT SCENARIO Reverse Logistics - Reverse logistics is for all operations related to the reuse of products and materials. It is the process of moving goods from their typical final destination for the purpose of capturing value, or proper disposal, or returning the goods for service. In the case of reverse logistics, the resource goes one step back in the supply chain. Here we have a constrain in the Reverse Movement where we are facing some challenges in shipment visibility and planning parameter. Challenges: There is no visibility on the reverse movement orders There is no planning engine which handles reverse orders Separate vehicle is used for the reverse movement Due to additional vehicle the cost factor is high p. 6

8 Implementation For implementing the reverse logistics we need to configure the below setup Screen-Set Saved Query Advanced Manager Layout Automation Agent Screen-Set Saved Query Automation Agent Advance Manager Layout We need to configure 6 set of screen-set where we will differentiate the orders and shipments using Default Criteria as condition to achieve the orders and shipments to be displayed Saved Query is the concept of designing a specific filtering options which will give the desired results when that is executed Automation agent will perform any action that has been defined by the user which triggers it when ever is required This advance manager layout is used to configure and define the screen-sets with the help of Saved Query which will be working based on the actions performed in Primary Pane p. 8
