5 Quality at CCL At Cambridge Commodities Limited (CCL), we are dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality nutritional ingredients to make the best possible products. This mission starts by ensuring that high standards are met at every step in the supply chain, from origins within approved supplier factories to arrival at our warehouse, then onto the customer to be manufactured into a finished product. Our technical team regularly audit suppliers to ensure products meet all regulatory and quality requirements. We closely monitor all packaging, storage and transport systems to maintain the quality and integrity of our products once they leave our warehouse. We undertake regular independent testing of products with UKAS approved laboratories, as well as in-house testing of incoming products. An Informed-Sport registered site, we annually surpass the requirements for the Quality Standard ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001, and hold Soil Association Organic and FEMAS accreditations for selected products. Every batch that arrives at our warehouse is sampled and subjected to various checks and thorough testing including FTIR analysis, organoleptic, bulk density testing and mesh testing when required. This helps to assure the integrity of each batch and enables us to pick up on batch inconsistencies immediately, ensuring that the highest quality standards are maintained. Full technical documentation is available for each product and every batch is supplied with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and this informs every stage of our internal processes, from communication between departments to operations procedures. We work together with our customers to achieve deadlines and supply trusted, quality ingredients.

9 New Supplier and Material Approvals We endeavour to source any ingredient on request and have procedures in place to ensure that new suppliers and materials meet our stringent quality standards. New suppliers must complete a verification process to become an accredited supplier. The process consists of a meticulous questionnaire and thorough sampling of the material before approval. The raw material questionnaire is a comprehensive assessment of the product with the primary aim of proving that what we re buying from the supplier is the promised material. It also ensures that the product complies with EU legislation and includes questions of sourcing, processing, allergens, site information, possible contaminants, GMO and BSE/TSE status among others. Samples of new materials are obtained from suppliers and are thoroughly checked using a variety of methods including FITR and external testing before they are approved as a stock item. The verification process ensures that we have all of the information needed to properly understand the product which allows us to provide a fully detailed Technical Dossier.

13 Positive Release All materials we receive into our warehouse undergo strict quality testing regardless of whether a new stock item or a reordered product. Our Goods In area has a ISO Class 8 sampling area where two samples are taken from every batch. Samples are taken to the lab where they are checked against the retained sample by FTIR analysis and organoleptic testing. This testing is to ensure that each batch remains within the quality tolerances of 95-98% depending on the material. Deviations from this are quarantined for further investigation and possible rejection. Product received at Goods In QC Inspector Takes samples Magnet check for contamination Checks visually against COA Checks visually against retained sample Checks mesh size if it looks different FTIR check for batch consistancy Record QC approval Store retained sample Other testing, including mesh and bulk density testing, is carried out when required. 15 Repack Process Our cleanroom facilities and material handling processes align with good manufacturing principles. This allows us to repack raw materials into smaller quantities with the assurances that integrity is maintained. ISO Class 8 standard cleanrooms provide an environment that controls airborne particulate contamination. Air locks allow lean product flow from the warehouse, into and out of the cleanroom. Instant access CoAs are available on our website to allow customers to immediately use the documents they require upon delivery of the product. 17 Environmental Impact Our vision is to be the leading supplier of nutritional products in Europe. This includes recognising our responsibility to protect the environment and committing to our environmental policies and procedures throughout the business. We recognise that our activities affect the environment and are therefore committed to minimising adverse impacts. We aim to comply with all current and future environmental legislation, prevent pollution, involve employees and contractors in our environmental programmes, and incorporate appropriate environmental factors into business decisions. Some of the ways we are minimising our impact on the environment include: Sending zero waste to landfill Anaerobically digesting product and kitchen waste Recycling throughout the office, cleanroom and warehouse Operating in an energy efficient building with solar panels and LED sensor activated lighting We have invested a lot of effort and finance into how we minimise and manage our waste, and continue to look for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

18 Accreditations We are committed to meeting quality standards required from customers across a variety of industries and are dedicated to maintaining an up-to-date and relevant portfolio of accreditations to support this. ISO 9001:2008 ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management. Being accredited to this standard helps to ensure that customers receive consistent, good quality products and services. ISO ISO means having a system in place to help us manage our impact on the environment. This can be through reducing the amount of waste we put into landfill or by reducing the amount of electricity we use. People are also part of the environment and they need to be protected too, through proper health and safety protocol when dealing with products or being safe in the warehouse. Informed-Sport Cambridge Commodities was the first nutritional ingredient supplier to achieve Informed-Sport site registration in the UK. Informed-Sport is a testing programme which is designed to analyse supplements and their ingredients for inadvertent contamination with substances prohibited in sport. Being Informed-Sport registered means that our site has been tested to show that it has appropriate controls in place to minimise cross contamination with banned substances. Even trace levels of contamination can have significant consequences and this requires a sensitivity of testing beyond standard quality control systems. We are committed to supplying clean ingredients to the sports nutrition sector and recommend that all sports nutrition customers test and register their products with Informed-Sport. For a product or specific ingredients to be certified through Informed-Sport, a contract will need to be established with LGC directly. Please contact us for further information or assistance. 19 PROTECTING CONSUMER CHOICE FOR GYM AND SPORT PARTICIPANTS Soil Association Organic We have Organic status with approval from both DEFRA and The Soil Association for a number of products. This lengthy process involves obtaining organic certificates and detailed information from manufacturers, ensuring packaging is food grade and proving all compound ingredients in products are organic. FEMAS The FEMAS standard was developed to ensure feed grade ingredient purchasers have peace of mind that the ingredients they are buying meet the most stringent quality criteria. The standard helps to maintain the protection of animals that consume the feed ingredients and the humans who consume products derived from these animals. In order to comply, a thorough audit and inspection by an independent certification body must take place, showing compliance with both Hazard Analysis (HACCP) and Good Operating Practice procedures. ESSNA ESSNA is the voice of the specialist sports and physique nutrition sector in Europe. The alliance was launched in December 2003 with the aim to be a forum for discussion and vehicle for action on the concerns of the sports nutrition sector to secure appropriate and proportionate European legislation on sports nutrition products. As an integral part of the sports nutrition industry and in order to offer the most effective service to customers within this sector, we have taken a proactive role as a trade member. The alliance with ESSNA enables us to stay ahead of changes within the industry and to play our part in helping to ensure that sports products receive a fair representation with regards to legislation. All major products we sell to the animal industries are FEMAS accredited. Furthermore, our site operates a NOPS awareness policy to minimise the risk of cross contamination.
