1 Tender for Sale of Obsolete and Scrap items MR 171/2015 Sale of Obsolete and Scrap Items THE COMPANY FEA Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) is a government owned company solely responsible for supplying power throughout the Fiji Islands. Power is supplied through Hydro, Diesel and Wind mill generators located in different parts of Fiji. The operations of the company are organized into three geographically defined divisions, Which correspond to the national administrative divisions. These divisions are: 1. Central/Eastern based in the capital, Suva 2. Western based in the city of Lautoka 3. Northern based in the town of Labasa Suva and Lautoka are on the island of Viti Levu with main warehouse while Labasa is the Commercial centre of the island of Vanua Levu. Lautoka warehouse is designated as the Central Stores. Purpose and description of the Tender The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) is requesting sealed Bid / proposal for Sale of Obsolete And Scrap items located at its Stores in Kinoya as per list below.

2 Tender Submission It is a mandatory requirement for the bidders to include the following information with their Tender submission: 1. Business Trading name 2. Business location and address 3. License number of the Scrap metal dealer 4. Name and ID of the authorized person acting on behalf of the Scrap dealer 5. Vehicle number that will be used for pickup of the Scrap metal. Courier charges for delivery of Tender Document must be paid by the bidders. This tender closes at 4:00pm on Thursday 12 th November, Any request for extension of the closing date by the bidders must be made 24hrs prior to the current closing date. It is the prerogative of the FEA to either accept or decline the request. 5 Each tender shall be sealed in an envelope with: The envelope bearing only the following marking: The Secretary, Tender Committee Fiji Electricity Authority Supply Chain Office Private Mail Bag, Suva Tender NO. MR 171/2015 Sale of Obsolete and Scrap Items It must also indicate the name and address of the tenderer on the reverse of the envelope. All late tenders, unmarked envelopes and envelopes without bidder s name and address on the reverse will be returned to the Tenderers unopened.
