2 DIMENSIONAL TABLE OF FEDEX COUNTRIES Calculating Dimensional Weight Dimensional weight applies when your package is relatively light compared with its volume. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges based on the dimensional weight will be assessed. HOW TO CALCULATE DIMENSIONAL * Length is the longest side of the package or objects. Girth is (2 x width) + (2 x height). 1. Measure the length *, height, width of the package and multiply them. 2. Divide the total by the specific dimensional weight factor. 3. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, use the dimensional weight of your package to calculate your rate.
