3 AIM+ 7.6 Release Notes AIM+ 7.6 includes additional functionality, enhancements, and defect corrections. This document provides users with a brief explanation of what was fixed, and an introduction to new features and functionality implemented with this release. Deployment Date: December 16, Stewart. 4 Setup Shipping Account Setup Use the Shipping Setup screen to create the shipping account for your Company. To create shipping labels, you must have a shipping account set up for the Company. Prerequisites: The Shipping Setup module only displays for users with permission to Setup (Shipping Setup) assigned in the Admin Tool. To configure a Shipping account for FedEx in AIM+, you must first have FedEx Shipping account information. You will need your FedEx Shipping Account number and related address to create a shipping account in AIM+. Creating a New Shipping Account Follow the steps below to setup a shipping account for your Company. Steps 1. From the AIM+ Setup navigation menu, click Shipping Setup. The Shipping Setup screen displays. 2. From the Shipping Setup screen, FedEx is selected by default in the Select Shipping Company drop-down Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 2

5 3. Click the Add New Account button. The Shipping Setup pop-up displays. 4. Enter the Shipping Account No. 5. Enter the Shipping Address information. 6. From the Available Escrow Units grid, select one or more Escrow Units to set up the shipping account with. 7. Click the right-arrow button to move the selected Escrow Units to the Selected Escrow Units grid. 8. Click Save & Exit. Note One Escrow Unit can only have one shipping account; but one shipping account can have several Escrow Units. Escrow Units display in the Available Escrow Units section based on the branch(es) assigned to the user logged into AIM Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 3

6 Editing an Existing Shipping Account Follow the steps below to edit an existing shipping account. Steps 1. From the AIM+ Setup navigation menu, click Shipping Setup. The Shipping Setup screen displays. 2. From the Shipping Setup screen, FedEx is selected by default in the Select Shipping Company drop-down. 3. Select the record and double-click to open. The Shipping Setup pop-up displays. 4. Make necessary changes. 5. Click Save & Exit. If any address information has been changed, a confirmation message will display after clicking Save or Save & Exit on the Shipping Setup screen. At that time, FedEx will receive notification of the edited address, and the Meter number will change. Note In AIM+ 7.6, the only shipping company available from the Select Shipping Company drop-down is FedEx Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 4

7 The New Shipping Module A new module, Shipping, has been added to the AIM+ Data Entry Groups. This module will help you create and manage shipping requests and labeling via FedEx. Use the Shipping module to manage the following shipping tasks: view rates against new shipping requests create, and track shipping requests Features of the New Shipping Screen Use the Shipping screen to create shipping labels and manage shipping details. Use the buttons on the Shipping screen to manage various aspects of your shipping label needs: Create Shipping Label View Label View Shipment Details View Tracking Information 2018 Stewart. 8 The following columns display by default on the Shipping screen. Use these columns for additional sorting: Tracking Number Shipping Company Created Date Shipment Date Estimated Delivery Date Sender Name Recipient Name Payment Bill To Estimated Cost Service Type Notes Note The Shipping module displays in Data Entry Groups after this feature has been enabled in the Admin Tool, and you have the Shipping permissions. 9 Creating a Shipping Label Create a shipping label with ease, using the new Shipping module in AIM+. Prerequisites: To create a shipping label, you must have the Shipping Module and Shipping Setup completed. In addition, you must also have a FedEx account. The Create Shipping Label screen is comprised of five sections: Shipping Company Escrow Unit Sender By default, the address information associated with FedEx shipping account (linked with Escrow Unit on file) is populated. Recipient Shipping Details Follow the steps below to create a shipping label for a file in AIM+: Steps 1. From Data Entry Groups, click the Shipping module. The Shipping screen displays Stewart. 10 2. From the Shipping screen, click the Create Shipping Label button. The Create Shipping Label pop-up displays. 3. From the Create Shipping Label pop-up, use the Shipping Company drop-down to select FedEx. The Escrow Unit designated on file displays automatically. 4. By default, shipping account address linked with the Escrow Unit will be populated in sender (Address Lines, City, Postal Code, Country and State) 5. Complete the remaining fields in the Sender section, including the Person Name and Phone Number. 6. Use the Party drop-down or the Binoculars icon to add any other as Sender party. You can also manually enter the Sender information. 7. Click the Verify Address button for the best postal address option. 8. Use the Party drop-down or the Binoculars icon to add the Recipient. You can also manually enter the Recipient information. 9. Complete the remaining fields in the Recipient section, including the Person Name, Address, Phone Number and Address Type. 10. Click the Verify Address button for the best postal address option. 11. After the Sender and Recipient details are entered, click the Verify Address button in each section to select the correct postal address. Note about Verify Address: FedEx may return a suggestion for sender/recipient address (in case of any mismatch/ambiguity). 12. Complete the Shipping Details section. Note: By default, Shipment date will always be the current system date. Change the shipment date as required Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 8

11 13. From the Package Type drop-down, select the package type. Detailed information of each Package type is available on the screen as below: 14. From the Weight (lbs.) text box, enter the approximate weight of the package. 15. From the Shipping Instructions text box, enter in any special instructions for FedEx. 16. From the Notes text box, enter in any notes that will only be viewable in the AIM+ file. 17. If Special Services apply, click the check box under Special Services that best describes the special service. Note: If Special Services are selected, additional columns display on the Check Rates screen. 18. From the Payment Bill To drop-down, select the party to bill for the shipping costs. 19. When all fields are complete, click the Check Rates button at the bottom of the Create Shipping Label pop-up. The Check Rates pop-up displays. 20. From the Check Rates pop-up, click to select the desired packing type and estimated cost Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 9

12 21. Click the Create Label button. A PDF copy of the shipping label displays. The new shipping label information displays in the grid on the Shipping screen. Note The Escrow Unit on the file must have a shipping account setup for it in order to create shipping labels. On Check Rates pop-up, Standard Overnight is automatically selected by default (if available). Some addresses cannot accept Standard Overnight shipping. If the recipient s address cannot accept Standard Overnight shipping, lowest cost service will be selected. If Saturday Delivery is selected under Special Service on the Create Shipping Label screen, the Check Rates screen will display the service which is offering Saturday Delivery, with minimum rates selected by default Stewart. 13 Viewing Shipping Labels Follow the steps below to view existing shipping labels: Steps 1. From Data Entry Groups, click the Shipping module. 2. From the Shipping screen, select the shipping record. 3. Click the View Label button. The PDF of the shipping label displays Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 11

14 Viewing Shipment Details Follow the steps below to view details of an existing shipping label: Steps 1. From Data Entry Groups, click the Shipping module. 2. From the Shipping grid, select the shipping record. 3. Click the View Shipment Labels button, or double-click the record. 4. The View Shipping Label pop-up displays details of the order. 5. Click the View Rate button. The View Rate pop-up displays with the rate and service type information which was selected while creating the label Stewart. All right. 15 Viewing Tracking Information Follow the steps below to view tracking information on a shipped order: Steps 1. From Data Entry Groups, click the Shipping module. 2. From the Shipping screen, select the shipping record Click the View Tracking Information button. The Shipment Tracking pop-up displays. 5. From the Shipment Tracking pop-up, you will see the shipping order s Timestamp, Description, City and State. 6. Click the Preview button to view the Shipping Tracking report in PDF format Stewart. 16 Closing Enhancements to the CD Details Escrow Section A new option, Mortgage Insurance, has been added to the Escrow section of the Projected Payments tab on the Closing Disclosure. To add Mortgage Insurance, follow the steps below: Steps 1. From Closing, click the Closing Disclosure Details button. The Closing Disclosure Details pop-up displays. 2. Click the Projected Payments tab. 3. Under This estimate includes, select the check box, Other. 4. Use the drop-down to select Mortgage Insurance. 5. Click the Add button. 6. Click Save & Exit. 17 Integrations Modifications to Reissue Liability for Stewart Access Policies For Stewart Access Policies/Jackets only The Reissue Liability field is now disabled on the AIM+ screen for Stewart Access policies. This change impacts Stewart Access Policies/Jackets only, where the Company and Underwriter are both Stewart Access enabled. To reissue, click to select the Reissue check box to display the new Prior Liability Amount textbox. Note: For Stewart Access Jackets, Reissue Liability will have the same amount that is provided in Prior Liability Amount field Stewart. All right. (800) STEWART stewart.com 12/18 15

19 Additional Information Accessing AIM+ You can access AIM+ one of two ways depending on your setup: If you access AIM+ through the Citrix environment, AIM+ is automatically updated to the latest version when you log in. If you are new to StewartWorkPlace or TitleWorkPlace, contact Customer Care at for assistance. If you are using AIM+ in a Citrix environment, maximize the Citrix screen and the AIM+ screen for best viewing results. Training Through the AIM+ Help Contents, you can access an online library of interactive tutorials and quick reference cards by clicking the Additional Learning Resources link or navigate to the AIM+ Training Center page.
