This module is a primer for management techniques, supply risks evaluation and mitigation, and lastly, developing an effective supply chain strategic sourcing program. 1. Strategic Sourcing Spend analysis and supplier segmentation Supply segmentation Supply base optimization CPSM ELIQIBILITY Three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (nonclerical, non-support) A Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university or international equivalent or a Bachelor s Degree earned from an accredited institution (See ISM Web site for complete list) Successfully pass three CPSM Exams OR if you are a C.P.M. in good standing, pass the Bridge Exam (test centers located in more than 230 countries) METHODOLOGY For the CPSM, it is class-room based (6 days face to face meeting = 2D + 2D +2D ) with workshops, simulations, case studies, and team exercises.

THE CPSM EXAM Participants need to take the CPSM examination and pass all three (3) separate examination modules, which cover the main segments of Supply Management. Once they pass the examinations, they need to complete all the requirements and submit all of them to ISM certification process. Once the participants passed the Exam, they will need to apply for certification. Application forms may be downloaded in the ISM Web site. Complete and sign the application, attach the required backup documentation and mail the application along with the appropriate member or non-member fee. CPSMs will be required to recertify every three (3) years with 60 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) STUDY MATERIALS FOR CPSM CPSM Study Guide - one of the most critical materials to use during your CPSM Exam preparation.
