Therefore, the aisle is always exactly where needed, so you can almost double the capacity of the system. 7 MANUAL DRIVE Economical and almost maintenance-free solutions for shelving systems. Manual drive of the rack system integrates the advantages of mobile rack systems and favorable price of fixed rack system. Smooth movement of the racks without major effort is achieved due to high quality gear and ergonomic handle. MECHANICAL DRIVE Provides customer with additional support while moving one or even several racks at the same time. Mechanical drive meets the requirements for medium or big rack systems. It is also suitable for small shelving system with high user comfort demand. ELECTRIC DRIVE It is designed for all types of shelving systems where high comfort for user and control is required, especially for large shelving systems particularly where frequent access to documents is required. The main control panel (computer with touch display) is situated on the first rack. After entering the request, the racks start to move and create the aisle to allow the access to required documents. All racks move simultaneously what significantly reduces the access time. On the side plate of each rack, additional control buttons are situated. The system allows assigning user rights to individual users by PIN codes and connection to personal computer with database software.

10 EK 7600 Fixed shelving Fixed shelving systems are suitable wherever the continuous access to stored material is necessary or access of several people at the same time is necessary. Fixed racks can be additionally quipped with wide range of accessories to meet customer s requirements. The system can be supplemented with new racks anytime so it can grow with the quantity of stored documents. Simple adjustability of the shelves allows accommodating any type of stored material or documents. 13 software Mobile shelving system equipped with electronic drive offers to the user maximal comfort and effectiveness. Additionally, racks can be controlled directly from personal computer. Electronic control system allows movement of one or several racks at the same time and automatic return of racks to initial position. Obviously, electronic access can be protected by PIN code and authorizations can be assigned to individual users. Shelving system also offers night ventilation of the racks, protection of user in the opened aisle and many other functions. Database software offers classification of stored material and documents, selection of required item and opening the aisle according to selected parameters. Thanks to database software, user has overview about the documents and material movement and detailed information about its storage position.

Rails are fixed to the floor, space between floor and rails is covered by chipboard false basement, which is then covered by flooring material according to the customer s request. Sides of basement are protected by entrance ramps and facing side plates. Built-in rails Suitable for new buildings or rooms without finished floor. Rails are fixed directly on the ground concrete or in the slots cut into the existing floor. Rails are afterwards covered and leveled with final concrete layer to meet safety and design requirements of customer. Self-supporting system Suitable for premises, where any invasion of existing floor is prohibited. It does not require fixing to the floor. It is composed of grill (lengthwise and crosswise beams), where chipboard false basement and flooring material is fixed. System can by moved to different premises anytime without any visible marks on the floor. Rails for movable shelving systems are made of high quality steel with a possibility of powder or zinc surface finishing.

20 In production process, KOVAL systems, a.s. utilizes latest technological equipment providing sufficient production capacity. We can offer free capacities utilization for various cooperation projects. Currently, KOVAL systems, a.s. is a holder of various certificates, for example: ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate, ISO 14000:2004 environmental management and AQAP 2110 quality system according NATO. Meeting the requirements of particular systems and meeting the quality requirements is controlled by independent quality department. Currently, Koval Systems, a.s. operates in two production facilities. Older plant has capacity of m 2, new production facility has a total capacity of m 2, which will be extended soon to m 2. Production and warehouse premises are equipped with latest technologies in order to achieve high productivity and high quality of final product.
