s SAP system landscape before and after TM SCM TM&EM PI ERP SCM 702 EHP2 SP4 NW 731 SP5 P2A TM 9.0 SP3 EM 7.01 SP9 NW 731 SP5 P2I PI 730 SP7 NW 730 SP7 ECC 606 SP5 NW 731 SP5 SCM SCM 4.1 SP6 Basis 640 SP11 X8P P02 APR Before: SCM 4.1 was in use with the heavily tailored TP/VS for the sea leg planning. ECC was in use for the distribution planning and shipment execution in both sea leg and distribution. L31 Livecache 7.9 DP, SNP, PP/DS, GATP O31/O32 SCM Optimizer 7.03 SP0 TM Optimizer 10.0 SP0 TM SD, MM, PM, FICO After: TPVS was replaced with TM and all the road and sea planning in new env. Shipment execution was left to ECC. 3

TM project size and scope is delivering to ca 200 of countries in the world and many different modes of transports are in use; ocean, road and rail. Order scheduling is done in SCM using the gatp, no scheduling is done in TM. Optimizer planning is in use for the sea leg and carrier integration is with EDI. Defaulting carriers for the land scenarios are in use, TM lanes are used to maintain the data TM modules in scope - Freight Order - Freight Booking ECC TM integrations: Order integration of sales orders and stock transfer orders Delivery integration with ECC Shipment integration with ECC 4

Current TM project status and TM functions used TM 9.0 in use since March 2014, all the production plants in since December 2015 TM is used for shipping and distribution planning, tight ERP integration with order, delivery and shipment integrations due to execution side of the process in the ECC Lots of integrations to different internal and external systems e.g. producing mills and stevedores, warehouses, carriers TM 9.4 path is in the radar -> depends on s and SAPs roadmap, prerequisite is an DB upgrade 2018 TM Archiving was implemented throughout end of 2015/2016 for TOR/TRQ objects 5

Main project achievements Sea leg transport planning and distribution planning all in the same common system, execution part still in the ECC Web based solution offering modern working environment - System that is constantly further developed by SAP - Possibility in the future to extend the scope and move forwards to more standard enviroment what comes to execution, including load consolidation, picking and outputs, charge calculation and customs declaration etc. - Target is to have a single tool/screen for the planners to see all the relevant information in one view what comes to stock, status of the non-planned and planned orders, customs declaration etc. 6

Happies / Unhappies In the sea leg planning there is a huge improvement comparing to TP/VS In the distribution we have so far not achieved the level we want to be, mainly because of tight integration with ECC means we have to work in two different environments and having time critical integration in between the systems User experience is good in general level System performance has not been in the satisfying level all the time and there are some lessons learned how to keep it on track 7
