5 GS Seasonal Flight Information Processing GS Planning for Stands, Gates & Terminal Resources GS Seasonal Flight Information Processing (SFIP) offers comprehensive features to compile and manage seasonal flight schedules, starting with the import from official scheduling institutions to the manual editing of data and the automatic creation and export of operational daily flight schedules. GS Planning is designed to support strategic planning function to determine resource needs under multiple simulation scenarios and to produce optimized long-, medium- and short-term plan of stands, gates and terminal resources taking into account all applicable dependencies, constraints and preferences. 6 GS RealTime Flight Information Processing GS RealTime for Stands, Gates & Terminal Resources GS RealTime Flight Information Processing (FIP) manages operational flight data including code share and general aviation flights. Flight information from various sources is processed by rule-based configurable business logic. The user is supported by consistency checks and an alert management function. The system includes automatic receipt and parsing of incoming standard IATA messages and automatic generation and sending of standard IATA movement messages. Automatically entered flight schedule changes and operational irregularities trigger alerts and generate changes to the plan aimed at eliminating conflicts and avoid or minimize delays. 7 GS RealTime Airport Map GS HubControl A comprehensive graphical representation of the airport showing a bird s eye view of the current stand / gate occupation and the status of the turn-around operations taking place at each position. With information coming from GS RealTime, the map provides zooming functionality to facilitate the analysis of hotspot areas and is capable of displaying the actual position and status of ground support vehicles on the ramp. In order to achieve efficiency in a hub or turnaround operation, all related departments, processes and events have to be controlled in a manner.
