1 CODE TITLE DESCRIPTION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS PACKAGING RULES X Certificate IV in Transport Scheduler This is a qualification for those engaged in the Transport and Logistics Industry in a scheduling role. It involves a broad range of applications including requirements to allocating staff and resources, planning routes, optimising delivery service, contingency planning and ensure regulatory compliance is met for all types of freight including but not limited to general, passengers, over dimension, livestock, bulk liquid, container, break bulk, dangerous goods, vehicle transport and couriers within the logistics industry. Additional skills in stakeholder communications, leading teams, just in time delivery, load security/integrity, optimising the use of telematic data in cost effective journey planning and load delivery is validated. Successful achievement of the chain of responsibility unit/s within the qualification align with applicable Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and state and territory regulatory requirements. Job roles Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include: transport scheduler transport allocator rail operations scheduler. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. There are no entry requirements for this qualification. 2 8 general elective units from the general elective units or Group A or Group B specialist units and Up to 3 of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification. Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
