1 Story: In FMCG or Pharmaceutical Industries, the raw and finished products need to be critically managed wrt expiry dates. Materials have to be consumed (in production) or sold not just before the expiry date, but specifically for FGs - with having sigfficient buffer time for end consumer. This app is ment for the warehouse personnel, who will look after the batches and make sure they are consumed or sold before considering the preconfigured buffer time before expiring. Also it will show the Reorder levels, so that user knows when there is a need for procurement. In summary, the app will be useful to know total quantity for each material, all the batches and their expiry dates, the quants (pallets, storage units in general) inside each batch along with details like Bins etc. It will work as a stock snapshot at a particular moment. Segmentation: WH managers/responsible for general logistics, where materials are batch managed and Expiry is critical and costly. Targetting: FMCG, Pharma, Chemical, etc. Positioning: Other than providing a batch/quant-wise status, it will show warning/critical icons in the app tile, and then at product master list - to indicate that certain batches needs attention. Based on material master, app would determine the criticality/buffer days and show a warning flag for that batch. 2 User Experience Journey: This is a sample UEJ of the warehouse manager, when he is required to send all the baby food product batches which are nearing expiry to the Sales team. He has to go get the data using standard SAP t-codes. Mock-up using Prototyping kit: App Tile: It will show dynamic number of batches which are expiring or critical. Master view will contain Materials, with Batch Status. Batch status will flag Attention required if there are any batches which are nearting expiry (warning) or already expired (critical). Detail view: Header section will have reorder level information as colored Status. There will also be two tabs. First tab will have batch details for the selected material. The expiry date will be color coded to denote criticality. There will be one dynamic button to take necessary action in case a batch is expired or nearing SLED.

3 Clicking in the navigation of Batch line, it will display the Quants within the particular batch.

4 Second tab will have all the quants for the material. SAP Web IDE Screenshots:
