1 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Please refer to the WWW specification sheet(s) for footwear construction and labeling information. Vendors must purchase all shoeboxes; hang tags and other packing materials from suppliers authorized by Wolverine Sourcing, Inc. All supplier contact information will be provided to the vendor by Wolverine Sourcing, Inc. 2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS Apply WWW UPC labels. Tickets for POE orders are produced by Avery Dennison. For Keds, Sperry and Stride Rite product - WWW transmits the customer s ticket data to Avery through a flat file each day. Customer Service will complete a simple order form to advise Avery of the PO#, shipping and billing info. Do not ticket Saucony product as of 9/18/17. For all Michigan-based brands, there is no flat data file to Avery so Customer Service will complete a long order form to Avery to order tickets. Apply tickets in the lower left corner of the shoebox face if possible. Otherwise, apply in the lower right corner. Cover the WWW UPC barcode with the customer s price ticket. Do not cover any brand logos or finger holes. Do not apply tickets to box lids. Price ticket example: 3. SHIPPING CARTONS & PACKING 3.1 Carton requirements for footwear Top opening, regular slotted, double wall, C-flute corrugate construction. 2 weight Glued carton joints. Staples are not permitted. Cartons must be sealed with tamper evident packing tape. Do not band the cartons. Cartons must meet the following weight and dimensional requirements: Length: Width: Height: Gross Weight: Minimum 16 (40.6 cm) 14 (35.6 cm) 12 (30.5 cm) 10 lbs (4.5 Kgs) Maximum 28 (71.1 cm) 22 (55.9 cm) 24 (61 cm) 50 lbs (22.7 Kgs) 3.2 Packing footwear Pack per instructions given on WWW purchase order. Place shoe boxes in carton so that the UPC labels are facing upwards and all in the same direction. The quantity to be packed in each carton is shown on the WWW purchase order. For solid packed cartons, pack only one stock number, size, and color per carton. 4. SHIPPING CARTON MARKING 4.1 Carton labels For standard footwear cartons apply the WWW barcode carton label (license plate) to the front (width) of the carton and the smaller dimension of the label must wrap around the corner onto the side (length) of the carton. 3 4.2 Carton markings Markings must be stenciled on the long side of the carton in lettering at least 1/2 (1.5 cm) high. Main mark: final destination (ship-to) address, PO number, WWW stock number, number of cartons, and country of origin. Side mark: SAP PO number, style name, Style Description, PO # written as Rack Room PO # xxxxxx, Customer SKU written as Rack Room SKU #, Customer Color, Size, Qty Width (or size grid when more than 1 SKU is present). Note: The Customer s SKU and Color will be entered on the order in Item Texts by Customer Service. If Rack Room sends a width that doesn t match ours, they will also enter that in Item Texts. 5 5. PACKING LIST For each purchase order, a complete packing list itemized by carton is to be attached to the lead carton (carton #1). The envelope containing the packing list must be clearly marked as Packing List Enclosed. Packing lists must include the following information: PO number Carton numbers WWW stock number(s) OFF BROADWAY SKU number(s) Color(s) Sizes & widths Quantity per carton Total quantity per SKU Weights & measurements See FORMS VCP for an example of an acceptable packing list format. 6. CHARGE BACKS Failures to comply with these guidelines will result in charge backs per the customer s charge back schedule. 7.
