1 Quick Guide to Managing Shipment Notifications Purolator E-Ship Online &

2 Stay updated on the status of your shipments! We know that tracking shipments is important to our customers. That s why we offer proactive notifications, while also making it easy for you to choose the types of s you d like to receive when shipping online. > Purolator E-Ship Online This guide will help you: Manage your default preferences for shipment notification s in your Purolator E-Ship Online account; and Select which types of shipment notification s you d like us to send when you create a shipment using Purolator E-Ship Online or. Shipment Created s notify you when a shipment has been created and include details such as the tracking number. Shipment Exception s notify you when a shipment has been delayed in transit. They include the reason for the delay and what action, if any, is required to complete the delivery. There are three types of shipment Delivery s:»» Proof of Pickup s notify you when a shipment has been picked up by Purolator, if applicable.»» Out for Delivery s notify you when a shipment is on a truck and expected to be delivered that day.»» Final Delivery s notify you when a shipment has been successfully delivered. 3 Purolator E-Ship Online 1. Go to and log in to your Purolator E-Ship Online account by entering your username and password, and clicking the Login button. > Purolator E-Ship Online s 2. On the page, next to Generate Shipment Confirmation ?: Select Yes if you d like us to send you (the shipper) an notification whenever you create a shipment; or Select No if you would not like us to send you an notification whenever you create a shipment. > Purolator E-Ship Online s 4. 5 1. Go to and log in to your Purolator E-Ship Online account by entering your username and password, and clicking the Login button. > Purolator E-Ship Online s 2. 6 3. On the page, scroll down to Notifications (optional) and click the Edit link next to Add or Modify Notifications. > Purolator E-Ship Online s 4. In the Add or Modify Notifications window, manage the types of notifications you (the shipper) and the receiver will get by selecting and deselecting the boxes, based on your preferences. TIP: Click the icons next to All, Created, Exception and Delivery for details on the types of notifications. TIP: Click the Add Another link, if you d like us to send shipment notifications to another person in addition to the shipper and receiver. You can also manage the types of notifications they receive by selecting or deselecting the appropriate boxes.* * For the purposes of these notifications only, if you are providing Purolator with personal information relating to an individual other than yourself, you acknowledge that you have obtained that individual s consent to do so. 7 5. When you re done managing your preferences in the Add or Modify Notifications window, click the OK button. NOTE: These will be your default notification preferences. If you d like, you may customize these preferences when creating a shipment (see page 7 for details). > Purolator E-Ship Online s 6. 8 s 1. Go to and log in to your Purolator E-Ship Online account by entering your username and password, and clicking the Login button. > Purolator E-Ship Online s 2. 9 3. On the Shipment Info page, go to the Notifications (optional) section. 10 4. To manage all notifications for this shipment, click the Edit link next to Add or Modify Notifications. 5. In the Add or Modify Notifications window, manage the types of notifications you (the shipper) and the receiver will get for this shipment by selecting and deselecting the boxes, based on your preferences. > Purolator E-Ship Online s TIP: Click the icons next to All, Created, Exception and Delivery for details on the types of notifications. Enter your notification preferences below your (the shipper s) contact information: Select the box next to I want to receive updates on my shipment by , if you d like to receive all types of shipment notifications (see page 1 for details on notification types); or Do not select the box next to I want to receive updates on my shipment by , if you would not like us to send you any notifications for this shipment. Enter your notification preferences for the receiver below the receiver s contact details: Select the box next to I want the receiver to be updated on my shipment by , if you d like the receiver to get all types of shipment notifications (see page 1 for details on notification types), and enter their address;* or Do not select the box next to I want the receiver to be updated on my shipment by , if you would not like us to send the receiver any notifications for this shipment.
