11 WHAT AnNa WANTS A bottom-up work approach, whereby: an overarching European dimension on what has to be done to implement the 2010/65/EU requirements will be developed all participating countries present and compare their national implementation schemes, pilot projects A Post 2015 Master Plan, also to strengthen the European MSW position in the global supply chain.

16 Standards for implementing the Maritime Single Window Every Data Model has to be proved applicable for the implementation of National Maritime Single Windows in Europe Compatibility and Flexibility with other established standards Study on different standards and models - ISO Electronic Port Clearance - Safe Sea Net - WCO Data Model 3.X - PortNet model

17 Standards for implementing the Maritime Single Window WCO Data Model is proved to be the most practical and applicable. Flexibility for current and possible future needs on modification of the Data Model Ability to apply in the intermodal logistics and transport (cross-border interconnectivity) Extensibility for most other domains than Customs Adaptable for UN/EDIFACT and (eb)xml

21 Main Results: 4. Introduction of Visit ID Visit ID = Unique reference for all declarations of the visit of a ship in a port Visit ID is an additional data element for the implementation of a National Maritime Single Windows on the European Level to enable exchanges of data across European countries and to avoid duplication of reporting. By applying this data elements, all reporting parties have to use this as reference identifier. The introduction of this Visit ID could have a great impact to the current business practice in many Member States as the state of the art is not equal. In the Master Plan of AnNa, the idea of introduction of this data element is briefly described. However, the impact analysis has to be additionally conducted by each Member State to identify the areas of actions.
