No more than 15 sqm are required to produce 120 tubes per minute including top seal and capping application. >> Seaming >> Heading >> Top seal application (optional) >> Capping application >> Tube packing (optional) The extremely compact design not only saves floor space, it enhances ergonomics: the operator interface is centrally placed from where all process steps can be supervised. Two fixed roll-stands in combination with a semi-automatic splice table allow roll change within seconds. One-step operation of shoulder making (compression molding) and body welding gives a flawless shoulder finish and eliminates the need for preformed shoulders. 9 The LMS/TET system uses the continuous process for the production of laminate tube bodies and compression molding for plastic tube heads. The production of tubes take place in-line: The compression molding technology forms the head, which is simultaneously fused to the tube body by means of melting energy, ensuring a perfect and reliable shoulder bond. No pre-formed injection molded heads are necessary. A completely newly designed seaming system guarantees accurate seaming control. This new seamer reduces power consumption significantly. The rotary cutter guarantees the best cut quality and a reduction of ovality. The LMS/TET tube line is flexible enough to handle the following operations: >> Capping >> Tube orientation >> Striping option >> Oval tube >> Top seal >> Barrier liner system LMS/2x TET Thanks to its high flexibility, and the speed of the LMS side-seamer, a second TET can be added to the line, fed by the same LMS. 10 LTR2: A new era in side-seaming TECHNOLOGY PackSys Global introduces the LTR2 side-seamer, the only side-seamer in the world operating with a closed control loop, leading to exceptional process stability. With 5 years proven success in high quality seam technology brought by the LTR side-seamer, the LTR2 has all the advantages of LTR including INVISEAM. The machine has a quick size changeover capability, an automatic splicing web roll and the next step in side-seam stability the A4S system. Furthermore, the LTR2 is newly designed for compliance with GMP standards. Size part change over in 10 MINUTES! The complete unit can be prepared offline and brought to the machine and exchanged via trolley. Trolley accommodates all size parts (i.e. forming belt, blade take up etc.) and serves for maintenance and storage. 12 LT125 The LT125 medium speed laminate tube line is one of the most versatile of its type. This line is composed of a new seamer, a multi-station compression molding header, and an integrated capper able to handle oriented caps. The seamer includes features such as fixed roll-stands, in combination with a semi-automatic splice table which allows roll change within seconds, high frequency generators, and a high performance rotary cutter in order to avoid pinch marks and ovality. The vertical loading system on the compression molding stations of 4 mandrels each, and the latest compression molding system allows the line to produce tubes at a speed up to 125 pieces per minute. The integrated capper is equipped with linear motors allowing tube production with both push-on or screw caps. This autonomous 8-stations unit can be offered with our optional in-house top seal device, as well as the IBL device (inner Barrier Liner). 13 LT250 The LT250 high speed laminate tube line is the culmination of all the latest technical developments from PackSys Global. It has been designed in accordance with the laminate tube user s requirements in terms of cost per output, performance, and required options. This line is composed of a high performance seamer, a multiple station compression molding header, and an integrated capper. The seamer includes features such as automatic splice, high frequency generators, and a high performance rotary cutter in order to avoid ovality and pinch marks. The innovative motion and loading system on the compression molding stations allows the line to produce tubes at speeds up to 250 pieces per minute. The integrated capper is an autonomous 8-station unit with production line interface. A Top Seal device for the application of tamper evident membranes can be offered as an option. The Inner Barrier Liner (IBL) option offers a low-cost method of creating a barrier shoulder without reducing line speed or efficiency.
