5 3 Multi-measurement functionality The GroSens HandHeld is suitable for multi-measurements as well as individual measurements. This function measures WC, EC and temperature at various locations in the greenhouse. The meter automatically displays the averages and the distribution of the values per series (e.g. per watering section). This gives the necessary certainty for the reliable adjustment of settings for optimization of the watering strategy. The reference slab in the greenhouse, which will be used for continuous tracking of the WC and EC, can easily be determined using multi-measurement. 4 Logging function for daily dynamics The logging function is the third option, which allows measurements to be performed at a set interval within the substrate. The easy to program logging function makes it possible to do up to 2300 measurements in succession. The logging function gives you reliable insight in the development of the WC, EC and temperature over the predefined time period. This data can then be used to make adjustments to the irrigation strategy and further optimize the crop growing. 5 Multi-Sensor measuring system expansion possible The GroSens HandHeld can easily be expanded to a GroSens MultiSensor measuring system. Based on a minimum of three sensors, the system gives 24/7 real-time insight into the WC, EC and temperature of the stone wool substrate. The system can be connected to most climate computers, immediately and continuously. The GroSens basic system is designed to provide reliable, representative WC and EC figures for an irrigation section. All components in the GroSens basic system are available separately, depending on the size of the greenhouse and can be expanded to meet the growers desire to take the next step in precision irrigation. The HandHeld consists of a Sensor and Reader as well as the following standard supplies: extra batteries, cleaning kit, extra-long antenna and a USB cable for connecting the Reader to your PC.
